Look these things don't do squat about cooling, they just dress up the back of the card.
If you had a Silverstone Fortress or Raven (or any case where the GPU is face-up) it wouldn't even be necessary.
My GTX 580s (one evga , one MSI) run full tilt at under 60C with a 70% fan duty cycle....and are quiet as a church on Tuesday.
true but you will still see the "back" when you clean the card lol but yeah, i have an ft-02 and i rarely see the card..the backplate makes it pretty though XD sucks they dont deliver in singapore :(

 Yeah, I ordered a couple for the aesthetics, not for cooling reasons. No, the backplate probably isn't going to do anything for cooling purposes, but it does make the card look better and may help increase the chance of selling the card in a year or two and maybe for a little bit more money.

big waste of money for me. one of the 4 screws is not coming out so i am force to resell those blackplate back it sucks. they look so good with my black ops

I should have taken pics! I'm sorry. I've contacted AquaComputer and they stated that they have no plans to manufacture their own compatible backplate for the 570/580 gtx. The issues are as follows: - The Delrin inlet and outlit interferes with the edge protector because it is flush up against the PCB board.
- the screw holes are too small in diameter on the backplate and the heads of the screws are too wide to fit inside the backplate's recessed holes.
- The mounting screws are also too short to pass through the backplate's risers and they don't reach the waterblock's standoffs.

By any chance were these suppose to come with screws or are we suppose to use the GPUs screws. EDIT: NVM looked over the instructions again. Huh first time that we havent had to save screws. NICE JOB EVGA!

Yes I do - I keep them at native resolution, users can feel free to crop if they wish.
