So I recently won a EVGA GTX 950 gpu and I tried installing it into my current set up.

Current set up
AMD FX 6350
Asus m5a97 le r2.0
Asus GTX 650
Vulcan 8gb ddr3 ram
700W power supply (forgot the name)
kingston hyperx 120gb ssd

The problem is when I plug in the gpu and the 8pin power (6pin + 2 pin) and i boot the system, the fans would run but my monitor would have no signal. I tried reinstalling the gpu and what not but to no avail.

I dont know if the gpu is broken or what because I just put my old gpu in and everything works fine.
Would it be possible to get it replaced?

Note: I uninstalled all old drivers before attempting to install the new gpu.
Also my mobo does not have the capability of checking monitors and what not as it does not have vga/hdmi on it.
Thanks for any response.

first remove your gpu from the motherboard. boot using into bios from integrated graphics. and switch your settings from integrated graphics to the "peg" setting. save settings and shut down. plug gpu back into motherboard, plug power connector back in. restart your pc and then you should be golden. happened to me before.

I agree 100%. Use the GTX 650 or integrated graphics to load into Windows and go to https://www.asus.com/us/M...R20/HelpDesk_Download/ Look for the newest BiOS update there and install it like any other BIOS. Don't restart the PC during the process.

If this does not work then you can try other things posted or call EVGA support at 888-881-3842 ex 1.

Thanks! I have updated the bios and it still doesnt work.
I've seen somewhere that taking out the ram and putting it back in will solve the problem. Does that sound like it will work?

Might want to test the card in another system just to verify if it's working or not.
