How come I get a message about HB bridges at 5:30pm yet they were available at 2:30pm... By the time I'm aware, they're all gone... it's unfortunate because I have a job and have to pay attention to real life. If only I was privileged enough to sit on my computer all day running an auto refresh on the bridge page for a week.... Yes I'm salty.

While I understand youre frustrated their service doesnt work as well as you wanted, I think suggesting Distill.io would be very helpful for you. Its a chrome extension (unless you want to pony up a few bucks for the cloud version) and you can set it up to check any web page for changes such as when "In stock" is added to a page. You can set the checking period manually and set it to send you email, sound and phone notifications. Its what I used to get my 1070.

It's just how it goes once you start working. It's why I wish more places would just take my order and ship it when it's in stock so I don't have to come back every day.

I have mixed results with it. Sometimes it instantly let me know when a product was in, other times it was hours later.

Wouldn't that be an issue with the email service/client? I doubt they send out emails individually.

What time zone do you live in? The email lists the in-stock time in PST, but your email would likely list the delivery time in your local time zone. For example, the HB bridges did come in stock yesterday around 2:30PM PST according to the email, but me living in EST means the received time of the email was 5:30PM.

+1 Sometime you have to be really quick on HOT items. Been there done that. If 50 become available and 1000 customers want them then .....

Unfortunately the HB bridges sold out within about a minute of going live, so it's possible you received the e-mail when you were supposed to, but they were already gone by the time you got to the site.

The high demand of the bridges is almost the same as the GTX 1080s. They will go fast once available. Just keep trying, eventually stock will be available in time.

I think it would be a better customer experience if EVGA had a waiting list. I would be happy if I could check a page and see where I was in the queue.

Want to share this tidbit posts 7 & 8 http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-Auto-notify-m2521628.aspx#2521835Cool GTX
EVGATech_RayH Make sure that if you were ever notified that a product has come on sale, but that the product has sold out once you reached the page, that you re-sign up for the 'Auto-Notify' as the system will only keep the email addresses for a single round of notifications
Thanks Ray for the heads-up - that is a well kept secret --- first time I've seen that info

It looks like frys.com is accepting back orders. I may just do that if I can't get one in the next few days.
