So, according to both EK and Watercool, there are 2 versions of PCB used in the EVGA 980 Ti 06G-P4-4995. One is non-reference (but apparently close to it), the other is reference. Thanks to over at EK, i know that the problem is the PCB choke to the bottom-right of the GPU core. Can you guys please tell me what the difference is? Is the choke taller than reference on one of the PCB versions? Shorter? Any advice on a block that will fit? The watercool compatibility sheet didn't say theirs wouldn't fit, it simply listed it as "close to reference" in a lighter shade of green - hopefully that will work?
