Picture is not my pc. Someone else that has the same pc and just the bigger version of the psu wattage wise. Size wise they are the same. They have the EVGA 750 P2. Any ways. The bottom 2 holes align and mount properly. Its the top 2 holes that do not align. Is it safe and okay for what that user done? They just put the 2 screws through the mesh part and called it a day. Apparently it secures it all the same and keeps it tight just as if you used the actual 2 mounting holes up top of the psu.

What kind of case it the PC? Is this a pre-built machine?

Yes it is. Its a HP Envy Phoenix desktop to be exact. As you can see. The bottom 2 fit perfectly fine. Its just the top 2 that do not. Hence those 2 screws where the OEM psu fits are screwed into the mesh part of the EVGA psu. Which I am not sure would be safe or not. I have talked to that party through pm and they assure me it works fine and the psu is completely in place. I just want a second opinion and hearing from some one at EVGA is a big plus as well.

The holes lined up perfectly fine btw.  My only complaint. I hate the cpu cable with the dual 8pins. Ugh. I would have got the 750w unit instead had I known they give 2 different cables. Both being single split 8 pin connectors. Maybe someone at EVGA can send me an extra if you have one?!?!?

On all other newer models 8pin CPU is 4+4 pin because compatibility with all motherboards.
I don't know why ASUS example use 8+4 pin instead 8+8pin for CPU. But if you want to connect EVGA PSU with some ROG E-ATX motherboards than you need one CPU power cable with 4+4 pin. And other connector stay on side like idiot.
That's weird decision special because ASUS use 8+8 pin even on mATX board WS and on E-ATX board WS, but on ROG 8+4 pin.
Why small WS have 8+8pin and motherboard where people usually OC i7-6950X and i7-5960X have 8+4pin???

    EVGA,

Is there a way I could get my hands on the cpu cable from the 750w P2 version? I would really prefer to use that. Like I said. I should have looked into it more and shooting myself for not getting that version instead. I did not want to return the 650 P2 though since its working perfectly fine.

What is the difference?  To me, the CPU cable for the 750W P2 looks the same as the CPU cable for the 650W P2.

The 650 comes with a single cable for the CPU, which has 2 connectors, daisy-chained at the motherboard side, with 1 4+4 and a full 8 pin. The 750 has two individual cables with 4+4 on both. If you check out the , he mentions this. Not sure if the 750 cable would be compatible with the 650, though.

I'd say, just tie the daisy-chained connector back with a zip tie or velcro tie.

As far as I know the G2, P2 and T2 cables are all interchangeable no matter the wattage as the custom sleeved cables EVGA sells would indicate: http://www.evga.com/Produ...aspx?pn=100-CK-1300-B9]
So he could source a cable from the 750 G2/P2/T2 and be good to go.

I am digging that sleeve option. Those are really nice. I might have to get those.
