I was informed today, that a fan on my wifes pc was making noise.
So i checked it out today, thought it would be one of the older case fans.
Turns out its the fan on the EVGA 600B PSU.
I heard it for the first time today, but my wife says its been going on for about a month.
She says it happens when she turns on the pc, but doesnt usually last more than 5 minutes... tonight it was making noise for close to 30 minutes.
Kind of scared me, because it was so loud i thought it was the pump on the corsair cpu cooler.
I checked that no cables were hitting the fan, and they were not.
The case is pretty clean too, very little dust builds up, we keep this place pretty clean.
Is there an easy fix for this, or is an RMA required ?
