EVGA 970 ftw in SLI with EVGA gtx 470 ( the 470 only as Physx card)  senseless??

    Try it.  Users go back and forth on this one.  I have seen no benefit from taking a very strong card (970) and putting a weak card in to help with single gpu or dual/triple sli.  You will only know if you try it.  
     
    I know that another user said that he tried a 570 with his 900 series card and it pulled his card down, so it may pull you down, but you won't know until you give it a shot.
