I can confirm that XFamousxAyygurX has been afk and taking up a slot for players to join on EVGA Gaming | Normal | TX (Killing Floor 2).
Due inpart to their inaction, it almost seems as if admins are setting a precedent that this exploit is a legitimate way to accrue time played for the Gaming Event.

Even if i use event stats, my search for either my ingame name or my steam name shows up empty.
I played around 2 hours of CS:GO so far for the event:(

There were reported issues with players searching by name for Source based games when they changed their name. Search by your Steam ID.

I just tested and evgagaming.com/stats-event.aspx is working 100% normally for me.
The search won't display anything if you have not signed up on the event page. You will see your stats on the HLStat page if you search that way BUT you will not have any hours played towards the actual event/giveaway if you have not signed up on evga.com/17/gaming

I have signed up on 15th of July.
Before the event page got an update to its current form i already had 2 hours played for the event by itself.
 
Since the update i cant find my own stats. 
Is it worth it to keep going and playing or wont it register as time played anyway?

I suggest you double check on the EVENT PAGE that you have correct steam ID and you are actually playing on correct steam account. If you can't see your steam id on evga.com/17/gaming, then something must've gone wrong at your end. Also you must play on the EVGA CSGO servers, not just any csgo server. You can find the servers at evgagaming.com/servers.aspx

If your playing hours arent updating from 2h 46m then something is wrong at your end. Please make sure you're on the right steam account, select one of the EVGA servers when you play and that you type in your ID correct when searching for hours ;)

You are able to find it, but i can''t

Remove the image please, we don't need to see it and you don't want to show it to other people! (it cointains your uncensored login id...)
 
When you're searching for your playing hours on evgagaming.com/stats-event.aspx
You MUST use STEAM_*:*:****** id to see your results.

** Steam ID is for Valve games. If you don't know what your Steam ID is, just log into any Valve game, and type "status" in the developers console (~). Make sure you have the console enabled in your options menu. There is also a 3rd party application to help find your Steam ID:

As of 6:33PM PST 7/25/2016 the CS:GO Casual TX server is spiking uncontrollably. It needs to be restarted desperately.

It's been restarted. It's possible the provider is having issues because another TX server we have from them was also showing lag.

I want  report another "bot player"...He turns on itself 360 degrees and simultaneously firing (so he got some kills!!!)...

EVGA Battlefield 4 servers in the USA are empty. What's the matter? You guys have a rough night and need to sleep it off for a while yet? I did manage to play at least one round of Conquest earlier this week at a CHI server but IDK which one. Yesterday there were eight players ahead of me in the queue and I got tired of waiting. Today there is no waiting but there aren't any players to kill me either.

I don't much care for the so called Event since I won't win anything anyway. I was just looking for a game.

The only time I ever see the BF4 servers with more than about 10 people on is during an event...

It's been like that on evga US servers since 2014.
