Yeah winning stuff can bring lots of laughter to and around you. I don't really participate on raffles that much but here's a little story. This goes back all the way when I was around 11 or 12 years of age. It was fairly cold winter and my town had this strange (but yearly) event going on (it translates to something like "Winter Fest" in english) and there were lots of different things you could partake in. Raffles, horsey sleigh rides, different mini sports competitions and so forth. At the time one of my friends grandma gave me a ticket to the raffle, she usually gave one ticket to all the kids she knew. I was not really expecting to win a thing but to my surprise and perhaps shock I won one of the items. An electric razor. I was so proud of myself and as I went to pick up my shiny prize, the person behind the counter announced "This little guy won an electric razor! But by the looks of it he won't have any use for it.. for a few good years!" people around us bursted from laughter, because it was literally the least useful thing a kid of that age could've won. And boy did I get reminders of "that electric razor you won" from my relatives even a decade after.

I definitely had fun w/the gaming part. Hadn't played KF2 in a while and met some cool people playing. Of course, there were a few bags of Summer's Eve on the server that just idled, which kind of sucks when it's limited to 6 people and 1/3rd of them aren't moving, but are contributing the increase in difficulty. We still managed to win a lot of em tho ;).

yeah, that is very well true. I did enjoy my first time in this hunt. And yes I did learn a lot not just about the questions in the medals but also some of the articles and press release are quite interesting keep up the good work EVGA!

If you answered yes, ungrateful wretches... ;) The issue was that some people couldn't find all medals without using VPN because some pages redirected to their local versions. So I think it's fair game to whine about looking through every page multiple times until noticing that little issue because EVGA didn't play fair and couldn't be bothered to do anything about it.

I found the last badge just hours before the time expired. I gave up for a few days and got my game on, came back, and found it. This was the toughest one yet.

You aren't reading what I'm writing. I got them all, that's not the point but I'm not sure how much clearer I can explain the redirect-issue a bunch of international participants faced. It wasn't our fault, the medals just were not there without VPN.

This is my 6th time or more(lost count) doing the medal search. Found all 10 within 4hrs mainly b/c I already know where they were gonna be b/c of previous searches. Its easy to figure out peoples pattern once you seen them do it couple times.

Prime example of learning peoples pattern. Knew the jackass was gonna cheat to get the win, just don't know which cheat was gonna be used. The issue was that specific article pages were broken or throwing errors for some people and not others. These ''dead'' pages weren't broken/unavailable for everyone which is where people had concerns. So yes in theory there could have very well been a medal on that page. Since medal locations were unique (within a range) for each person, its certainly plausible.
