i've noticed that when my card is under full load in certain game like The Division or Dying Light the temperature can ramp up to 95°C. I'm using PRECISION XOC to monitor the temperature and the fan curve profile is in Agressive Mode.

I'm running windows 10 pro with the latest nvidia drivers 375.70
My case is a corsair900D, and i do have 2 other 1080 FTW in the case that use for work on.
I did test the game on the other card and one of the card was running even higher in temperature and i suspect the fan to be the culprit since they do make a weird noise compared to the other 2 card when the fan are running 100% of their speed.

So is this a normal scheme or my card do have a problem ?

Thank you for your insights.

I believe EVGA can send you some thermal pads if you need them but you have three GTX 1080s in the case if I understand your description correctly. The first thing you should try is to obtain a standard house fan. Open up the side housing of the case and allow the house fan to blow air into the chassis. Monitor the temps as you did before and see if the temps go down or stay where they are.

yes i do have 3 GTX 1080 FTW.
i will try with the house fan with my case open.
But even though if the temperature go down, it's not really an ideal soilution ! i should be able to have my card running properly without the need to work wioth mmy case opened :)
i will even try to unplugg the 2 others card and run the game with only one card.
i will let you know about the result.
