Folks,
 
I am looking to buy the model 1060 FTW and I am looking for information to see if the model 1060 was affected by VRM problems. Was it an isolated case, or all cards have been affected?

    Hello and Welcome to the Forums
     
    The 1060 FTW is not affected by any VRM issues. The incidents that you see are isolated incidents and all cards are not affected.

    Hello thank you for answering me ... you say "isolated incident" for models 1070 FTW? Or these yes, are included in these problems VRM?

    For all of the 1070/1080 cards the VRM/VRAM heat issue is hardly an issue at all. The original review that sited the high VRM temperatures was while the reviewer was running Furmark which is a severe stress test and not recommended by Nvidia for testing purposes. Similar testing with thermal imaging while under 100% gaming loads showed temperatures of 70-85C which is within normal spec.

    In such cases it will be released a review by the EVGA? If lots revised with these problems fixed?
