Ccleaner will clean registry errors. My advice would uninstall both AB and precision. Not sure what you mean by reading the same, There sensor algorithm/ and reporting rates might be different.
1:uninstall both through control panel.
2:Run CCleaner --> registry tab--> Scan for issues --> fix all issues --> Backup registry ( JUST IN CASE)
3:Restart after Cleaning
4:Download both, run EVGA first... Restart computer.
5:Run MSI afterburner. i would restart again.....
DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE THIS WILL BREAK YOUR SYSTEM IF NOT PERFORMED RIGHT.. RECOMMEND SETTING A RESTORE POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If running win7 go to globe/start menu. type in the bottom "regedit" hit enter
you will see five choices
expand as follow
Afterburner and percisionX16 should be gone.. After running CCleaner
1: HKEY_CURRENT_USER--> Software--> MSI--> Afterburner ONLY!!!!! delete Afterburner
and any EVGA folder. right click on HKEY_CURRENT_ USER select collapse This return the column to normal
2: Next go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE--> Software--> Delete any EVGA
If their are entries to MSI or evga.
As for Overclocking look up your motherboard that is where i would start.
Hope this helps if still having issues :-)
