I just noticed the 1000 T2 on the RealHardTechx - PSU Review Database.  It states that 80 Plus Platinum certif. pending.

Any idea when these will be available in retail to purchase?

Thank you.

I didn't saw 1000 T2, but that would be probably most wanted PSU on market.

Hopefully they're not far from release, it looks as though their is a 1200W T2 also.

That's only question of day. At this moment Platinum replace Gold standard and we had big choice of different Platinum PSU.
1000-1200-1600W and smaller from other companies. But my opinion is that Gold Efficiency is enough for best configuration.
For few months Titanium will replace Platinum and customers will have probably 1000-1200-1600W model from EVGA.
For my need I would keep and 1000 G2 only is problem no Eco Switch, but from side of Efficiency is perfect for 3 way SLI if need.

Did you saw EVGA 1600 T2 Titanium Inside...??? I mean very small number of pictures are available for 1600 T2.
That's and best looking PSU unit when you look interior.
    Unbelievably...

This is madness. Look at this armor. I know...
EVGA would ask and armor on all components but can't because cooling.

Toms Hardware | Posted 5th June 2015EVGA SuperNOVA Lineup Getting New PSUs

EVGA's SuperNOVA line will be enriched with a Titanium unit with 1 kW capacity and an 850 W PSU with Platinum efficiency. Both of the aforementioned PSUs are made by Super Flower and are based on the company's Leadex platform, which is among the best platforms money can buy. EVGA utilizes a fully modular cabling design and features a semi-passive mode for total silent operation at light loads.

According to EVGA, these two new PSUs will be available in either August or September 2015. Pricing information has not yet been determined.

Yes I saw them near Z170 motherboard I think...
Good move from EVGA, because people probably ask 750/850W Platinum.
And 1KW is exactly strong enough for SLI Intel Extreme and enough space to prevent more heating PSU.
I think EVGA really need that two models.

wait, they have the EVGA logo in the inside? So you can't even see it unless you void the warranty? That's a bit much I think.

Why not, that's little investment for them and it's much better when inside everything is perfect.
Models below 1600W are little different but still is visible EVGA Logo...
    EVGA 1200 P2 and 1000 P2

If someone want good PSU in range 900-1000W I suggest to wait 1000 T2 Titanium.
I think that price will be around 240-250$. On early autumn will be available in all bigger online seller in Germany and Europe.
I would bought him now, not stronger. Perfect efficiency.

Really, I thought only 1000 T2 will be available.
Nice... and soon will more people start to ask for Platinum and Titanium models.
    Special in 850 - 1000W.
    EVGA 1600 T2 got excellent score, 9.9 from J.G.
    Almost 10 Total Score.

    if I didn't already have the 750 G2 I would go for the 650W P2 for sure.

Example I would bought 1000 T2 for me.
But I'm fine with 1200 P2, I will need one for backup at the end of year.
650W could be trap for people who want to play on more powerfull graphic cards.
750-850 is better because they can hold everything.
    On 850 P2 even R9-295X could work or TITAN Z or GTX690.

I must made some better pictures, my 1200 P2

This will be perfect timing for me. I was hoping for a 1200 model, but 1000 will be plenty. I will likely snatch one of these up right away unless something unforeseen happens. I'm pretty excited to get on the EVGA power supply bandwagon.

Wait Titanium class will have more models, not only 1000W?
    750 - 850? But no 1200 Titanium?
OK, if someone need 1200-1300W could choose Platinum or 1600 Titanium.

1000W is enough for most RIGs. But that's minimum if someone build Intel Xtreme and SLI, weaker models are not recommended I think because space needed to PSU stay little cooler than with 100% usage.
For Z platform 850W models are fine if someone feel that maybe he could install dual graphic cards.
If customer only plan single than 650-750.

As Nelly pointed out up the page, there is also a 1200 T2 in the review database. If I would take the time to read the thread, I would have noticed that earlier. So there is indeed a 1200W model. I wonder if it will be released at the same time? I would rather have that, but 1000 would do as well.

For my need 1000W is enough and I think 1KW T2 will be most wanted.
Exactly allow people with 2 graphic cards and Intel i7, even 6-8 cores Xtreme to work with some space.
But if someone decide on same configuration to go with 1200W it's not big overkill. Overkill is not negative word at all.
That's all same series only improved efficiency and voltage regulation probably.
1200 P2 is best PSU I had in life, I'm more satisfied with him than NEX1500 even if NEX was really exclusive and more powerful, more expensive and he had nice big cable and handle. People hate that handle but I loved...

I think 1000W will be enough for me. It will power two reference 980 Ti SC's and a 24/7 OC'ed 5960X. If I were doing bench OC's on the 5960X and Ti Classy's or Kingpins then I would be more worried about 1000W not being enough.

Yes reference GTX980Ti SC are very nice cards, but ACX model as well.
For SLI is maybe turbine better.

I don't trust ACX in SLI. I have been waiting for the blower cards to come in stock at Newegg since June. I was finally able to snag some yesterday. I will proceed with the rest of the build in two to three weeks and hopefully these PSU's will be available by then.

I don't know for me are both nice, ACX have nice led lights on side and it's little less noisy.
Turbine from other side have nice GeForce logo and famous nice look but little more noisy.
Maybe and temps are little bigger, both are nice but with SLI you should stay with turbine because ambient temps could be problem.

Maybe EVGA want to launch 1000 T2 with Paint instead of label on PSU case.
Black case with silver or grey fonts. With printed specifications and PSU name/power.
EVGA 1KW Titanium should be most wanted and best option for 50% of enthusiast.
25% should concentrate on lower and 25% on stronger models.
But 1000W is best choice if you choose PSU on longer period.
In one moment PC will maybe need arround 800W and 200W space is only for silent operation and longer life of PSU.

That's no good. I need a PSU and just registered some GPU's so I have a discount on PSU's for the next 30 days. I have to assume it's going to be in to November before these are released. Bummer.

You will not make mistake if you choose 1200 P2.
Under 1000W that's only little little difference than Titanium.
And later if you sell him and upgrade on 1000W, somehow 1KW is nice and attractive and number and PSU model...
you will not lose... maybe few dollars.

Personally, I bought a 1000 G2 with the plan to run 2 980 Tis in the future. Anything platinum rated or higher is going to be a great PSU.
