Finally started upgrading my loop using my new EK-Supremacy EVO copper CPU block courtesy of EK-CEO. Installation is pretty straight forward. Step 1 is to install the included mounting backplate to your motherboard. Step 2 is to apply your thermal paste and secure the waterblock using the included tension springs and thumb-nuts.

Getting close to being done. The only thing left is to mount the external 360 rad, run the hoses and bleed the system. The reservoir pump combo is a piece of cake to install with plenty of length on the leads. Just install the fittings and you're good to go. Upper 240 radiator is installed and reservoir hoses are connected... Monsta 360 is mounted and the hoses are installed. EK dual bay pump and reservoir are working fine with excellent flow characteristics.

Busy with some routine maintenance like cleaning the outside mounted Monsta 360. This poor guy has no filters at all... YET! Some of this stuff was over 1/4" thick. It's amazing how much junk collects in a radiator's fins in only six months of use. Before... After a thorough cleansing with my vacuum cleaner...

Thank you. I just finished removing the Cougar fans from the 240 mm rad and cleaned all of the dust from the fans and the fins. Maybe I should have taken a before and after pic to show how much junk had built up after only six months. Next up is the Monsta 360 and the Noctua fans. They are much worse since they're outside with no filtration. I got smart this time and slid my upper drive cage out to give me more working room attaching the hoses this time around.

I actually just upgraded my loop just a couple weeks ago. Went with the XSPC Twin D5 Dual Bay Res and 2x EK-CoolStream 480s .... Filling the loop was scary , I have never heard pump noises like I did with this res. ... but it was worth it haha

Yeah, it's going to be a challenge. Luckily the Monsta 360 has two fill ports on the top which makes things much easier. I just plug my PSU tester into the 24-pin motherboard connector and flip the switch on the back of the power supply. When the reservoir gets low or runs dry I flip it off and refill the res. I ran out of light when the sun went down. I still have a few hours ahead of me before I am back up and running again. I am getting used to this Windows 10 PC. It really is fast and it's a lot easier to use when you're not sitting on the floor. LOL

You will have nice loop there. Because so much dust I would installed 360 radiator out of case, on top of case, with two QDC on tubes installed close to radiator, than I could remove him easy and clean with Data Vac duster. I hope in 2016 and I will have little water cooling loop for CPU and one GPU. But somehow I invest always in more expensive graphic card than cheaper and waterblock... Example with Radeon I would much easier build watercooling because cards are cheaper.

I'll get a pic from the front after I get the PC back on my counter top. Not much to see when mounting it except for me tightening screws. I just put the drive cage back in and the dust filters on the front. After I fill and bleed the loop I'll slide the CD/DVD drive back in a get a pic of the finished project.

IDK, maybe. I'll let you know if the SWAT team pulls up. Not taking any chances of that I am going crazy with my hot-glue gun. I couldn't get my light stick to stay in place so I plastered it with plenty of hot-glue. I'm getting sick and tired of those grommets pulling out every time I slide one of the hoses anywhere so they got some hot-glue too. I'll spend hours peeling this stuff off of my fingers.

Looking good. No more foam being churned up inside my reservoir like I had with my Maelstrom V2. I dialed this D5 pump back to 87.5% because the flow rate was so good. It's still making a whirlpool inside. LOL It's kind of cloudy and overcast today. I might have to wait a day or two to get some decent pics.

Yea, EKWB parts are best. I would like EKWB Predator 360 Rev 1.1. Anyway he is enough for CPU and GPU. But I would change him a lot, Onyx Black 10/13mm tubes and smaller fitting size and add few adapters same as other QDC.

I agree that EKWB are the best watercooling parts available. I did a lot of homework before I took the plunge into watercooling with a custom loop and each and every time a question was asked, the answer was always get EK if you want the best reliability and performance. I listened and I was not disappointed. I finally got a full pic with everything including my Corsair M65 RGB White mouse sitting on my counter. Time to update my Mods-Rigs page with the latest photos.

You see they have a lot of products and parts and launch new stuff more often than other companies and offer water cooling for more models than other companies. That talk a lot about them. When someone have so many products than he constantly test and improve performance of their products. If you want water cooling from some other company sometimes you need to buy parts old 5 years. They are good no doubt but in mean time taste of people is changed and engineers, workers figure out some new things. I need watercooling most because I want graphic card to work in silence under 60C. Better to listen 2x120mm fans on 1400-1500RPM than fans from non reference or reference graphic card. That's most important thing and than processor because I could use more voltage and temps will stay below 60C.

It seems like they dropped a few degrees but I'm not real big into having a controlled environment for testing. I just measure the difference between ambient and my CPU core temp these days and it looks like I dropped between 4 to 10 degrees depending on whether I am Folding on a single board or both boards at the same time. I got a 4 degree improvement wile Folding on both boards and almost 10 degree improvement Folding on one board. Overall I am happy with my results.

One final comment about this loop. As much as I like their waterblocks I would seriously recommend that you avoid any dual-bay reservoir from EKWB. This product is nothing but junk and every port, plug, fitting, drain and anything else threaded into a hole will leak like a rusty old rowboat. I have spent the last three days trying to get this POS to stop leaking and I am about to mash it with a sledge. If you insist on buying this garbage you'd better stock up on a lot of permatex, epoxy and other thread sealing goo before you start.

Only is important for you to protect hardware. Be careful. I hope this is only accident because EKWB don't need at the moment any more problems with leaking after Predator Issue. And I think EKWB will continue to produce their parts with same passion and concentration as for now. I really like that company, I start to love them because their style in producing simple and attractive parts.

Me too, I was really happy because his loop. I looked how he build easy. Looks like problems constantly follow enthusiasts, more or less. And he understand me and my problem with graphic card and advice me. I can say only I'm really scare of barbed fittings and they always looked me problematic. From other side experts repeat that good new barbed fittings from famous brands hold almost as compression fittings or even same. But I can't imagine self to install barbed fittings...No way. Compression or nothing.

Vlada011, this one of their newest products and I had great confidence in EKWB when I installed it. I never had any problems with my barbed fittings or clamps anywhere else in my loop or with my Swiftech Maelstrom V2. I spent 5 hours trying to get the output fitting to stop leaking. I replaced the hose. Then I replaced the clamp. Again and again it leaked. Then while I was looking at it without even running I saw coolant seeping from between the fitting and the housing. I tried a different fitting. I tried different O-rings. Nothing worked. I need my PC so rather than put that Swiftech buzz-box back in it I went to Auto-Zone and used epoxy to seal the fitting. No more leak... until the next day! Then the plug for the other input port was leaking. It was tight and didn't leak before. I went back to Auto-Zone and found some thread sealant and glued that plug into the res. No more leak there. Then the input fitting started leaking. I tightened the clamp and it was fine for a few hours. I relaxed and thought the worst was finally over with. Three hours later out of nowhere it sprung a leak!!! I tried a new clamp and it still dripped coolant. I went back to Auto-Zone and got some screw type hose clamps that sealed the leak... at least for a few hours again. Someone is sending me a compression fitting to try. It wouldn't surprise me if I had to use thread sealer to glue that fitting into the reservoir too. I haven't contacted EK support yet until I calm down. I can't be without my PC and I don't know if they'll honor the warranty because I needed epoxy to seal the fitting onto the reservoir. I saw no other option except to pay shipping to Slovenia and wait and wait and wait for a replacement. If they wanted to be decent about it they could offer to send me just the reservoir housing and I can swap out the pump. Other option for me is to gamble on EKWB reservoirs again, save my money and order a replacement res or different model that accepts a D5 pump. I am totally disappointed with EKWB right now. Because of their recall of the Predator I know they are not perfect. Maybe this is just a poorly made unit with the threads cut wrong. Maybe all of these new dual-bay D5 units are like this. I won't know until I hear something from EK.
