snow_lightning, how many days has it been? It mostly depends on stock and what you ordered.

I placed the order on the 25th of April. It was all for things listed as in-stock on the website but was a complete build including a CPU waterblock, two VGA waterblocks, blue and red tubing, two reservoirs with pumps, 4L of coolant, all fittings, a triple parallel link, and a radiator. Cost about $1200 all around. It's my very last step in completing my extreme gaming rig and very improper use of my tax refund lol.

My girlfriend's father was from Slovenia so I've considered calling them directly since she speaks the lingo. Their address is listed so I've also considered having her aunt visit them personally to inquire but I consider all that a bit much.

If I pm you the order number, are you even in a position to inquire directly?

Derick, do you have any way of finding out how a DDC does in saltwater? I have a few sitting around I was considering putting on a reef fish tank but I'm not sure if it's safe or not. I've been looking for 2 weeks but can't find anything useful.

Derick - 750Ti Watercooled.  There is a thread in the 700 series Forum, if you want to see more :-)

Now, I know you all don't have a plan of adding a port on the bottom of the Parallel Terminals, but could you please plan it for future items?  I have seen more people turning there block over so they have a bottom port than not.  I mean, it con't take more than a few second to add one more port.

***EDIT***  Extremely exciting news from EK just arrived, they will be making a revision to add a bottom port!!! Woo-Hoo!!!  Thank you EK.

On Your EK WaterBlock Shown Below is the Plate made of Aluminum and the GPU Block Copper?
Are the EK WaterBlocks Built with two different metals that contact the Water?

Thanks

As far as I understand, it is Nickel.  I could be wrong, but the only difference is that it isn't polished.  I didn't even think about the two metals though.  Will be interesting to hear if it is Nickel or not.

I am RMA'ing my X58 4-Way Classified MB.  Unfortunately they have no replacement so they are sending me an X79 Dark.  It may be a nice upgrade but I wasn't counting on upgrading as yet.  I will have to get a new CPU.  My question is...will my EK Supreme 1366 waterblock (it does have holes for multiple sockets) fit the 2011 socket MB I am to receive or do I need to purchase a new mounting plate?
Thanks for your help.

I will now wait impatiently...  Everything I use is EK, to include the fluids, except the tubing itself.  I really don't want to void my warranty to see if there is corrosion, but if there is a know issue going around, I would rather pull one apart and check, just to be safe.  Thank you for posting this BCav.

Just an FYI.......

I have been running four EK-FC780 GTX Classy Nickel/Acetal  water blocks on my EVGA GTX780 Ti Kingpin Editions using ONLY Distilled Water for over 3 Months and decided to pull one apart to see if I was having any of the Corrosion Problems as posted in this thread , But as you can see in the following Pics, There was NO inter-acting of any of the EK water block metals to cause any Corrosion.

Thanks hallowen as I know what a Pain it is taking down a Water Loop.
I use Koolance Liquid Coolant so I hope mine are as clean as yours.
I do flush and filter the Liquid Coolant through a double coffee filter every 3 months and if needed replace the tubing.

I will filter my full loop and check all three blocks before I put everything back together.  I had not heard of the coffee filter method, but it definitely makes sense. I will post results, although it will be a few more weeks before everything gets back.

I did think of one thing just now.  Everything I have is EK, as I have stated.  The 750ti water block is the only on that isn't nickel plated, it is bare copper.  Would that cause an issue?  If so, it will not go back in the loop.

I am using an A/C Conversion Chiller that has the Bare Copper Evaporator Totally immersed in a 24 Quart Igloo Cooler, So I doubt if your Bare Copper 750ti water block will cause any problems in your standard water loop.

This 2010 Picture of my Pressurized Chiller Evaporator System Enclosure was taken after almost Two Years of running Distilled Water in a previous system before I Had to Clean it out and do a refill because of some slight accumulation of algae shown on the top of the Evaporator Coil due to the Water Level dropping too Low and exposing it to the Air.

Of Course I Have the Option of Cleaning my complete Water Loop Hoses/Water Blocks and Evaporator Coil using a pressurized portable Steam Cleaner!

bcav i just sold a system i built in 07 to my budy that has been running koolance fluid in it since i bought it and topped with distilled water when i ran out of extra fluid. after 7 years no issues nothing in the blocks or pump when i cleaned everything before he picked it up. i only use koolance fluid and never over 7 years and 5 cases with multiple configurations in each case had any issue with that fluid. used green blue and red. I've used a mix of ek swiftec and koolance blocks w/ xspc rads without issue. that dude in that pic modded his block and caused that mess.

the only issue i ever had was a tubing issue where the tubing itself broke down and released stuff into the fluid. replaced the tubing and no issues ever again with that system.

Just wanted to thank EK for incredibly fast processing / shipping...it was only a couple of 780Ti Backplates to compliment my FC Water Blocks, but certainly wasnt expecting it to be that speedy considering Shipped from Europe to Westcoast Canada (Vancouve Isle).....if Dazmode doesnt have what I want I'll definitely purchase from EK direct again ;)

That is the best news about Koolance Liquid Coolant, most other users don't seem to like Koolance products.

Sorry guys.

The plates on cards such as the 780 Classy are stainless steel and it's harmless to use them in loops with copper/nickel.

Using a 750 Ti bare copper with other nickel blocks is safe as well.

Some other exciting news :)

Derick I have a EK Supreme HF "Gold" CPU waterblock from my X58/1366 setup.  I am changing over to X79/2011.  I really like the appearance of the "Gold" finish on the waterblock and would like to use it on the new build.  Does EK sell the standoffs alone for this waterblock to be used on X79.  If not then I have another forum member of limited means who is trying to get into custom watercooling with whom I could share this WB with.

Hi EK_Derick! Are there any plans for near future on replacing the EVGA HC WB for Titan Black by Swiftech with HC with EK block with better VRM cooling?

I would like to see EK manufacture their multi GPU link blocks with the inlet and outlet on the bottom of the block for the bottom most card.  This leaves much more room for CPU pots when benching.

Agreed, cant remember for sure but I thought Derick did say the Multi Terminal Blocks will be designed with an extra port on the bottom as well....?...that would save me a bunch of angled adapters ;)

If you go to EKWB.com and look thru all single spacing Terminal and older style SLi Blocks.....there is a pdf schematic I believe showing the distances in mm between each Card.......I think ;) ....even if youre not going to use the Terminal Block you maybe able to get the info that way.....
