K6000 block looks sexy.

Derick, quick question. Not sure if you can even find this info, but do you have any idea where to get the screws and washers etc for this block?

(That was my first system under WC)

I still have the card and the block. It's an EK 295 Dual PCB nickle/acetal block and I'm missing all of the mounting hardware.

(Sorry if this should have been a PM, I wasn't sure if that was okay to PM you here or not)

Let me ask around the office and see what I can find for you. FrozenCPU has a bunch of our replacement hardware and probably will have everything you need, but I'll try to find out what exactly you need.

You can PM me if you'd like, but asking here is preferred.

Halo,

M2.5x8 DIN7985 (x23)

Distancer fi 6/3 x 2,5 Acetal (x23)

We had this kit:  http://www.ekwb.com/shop/mounting-mechanism-fc295-gtx.html

What I would do is contact FrozenCPU. Tell them you need this kit (as well as the screw and distancer info) and say this is what EK Support told me I needed, and they should be able to assemble everything you need.

I have 2 questions that are hopefully easy,  and I can't find the direct answers:

1) Does the EVGA backplate work with the EK Block for the 780Ti Classifieds, and if so,  does it require different screws or modification?

2) I will be using 2 cards and blocks.   I would like to be able to link them or something for rigidity and stability.   Both cards will have independent loops,  and I am just wondering if there is a link to brace them together somehow?

Scarlet,

1. The EVGA backplate will work with our block but will require longer screws. The engineers recommended m3x6 din7985 but also told me they haven't tested for sure so neither they nor I can guarantee that that is the correct size.

2. Why are you running independent loops for GPUs? Seems very unnecessary imo. Depending on the configuration of your motherboard/pci-e slot spacing you can choose one of our FC-Terminals http://www.ekwb.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/multiple-block-connectivity/fc-terminals.html. However this will limit the GPUs to be in the same loop. I would recommend this scenario as it helps overall. Other than that you could use a solid 3 Way SLI bridge to help keep the cards together but due to it's position it can only do so much.

I will let Igor know, thank you for your order and enjoy :)

I have been thinking about the loop as well.   I may consider ordering a block and another radiator and adding in the CPU,  then just have a dual pump/res setup so that if one gives out,  the other will take over.   I had already ordered an X60 and really don't want to get rid of it,  as I haven't even opened it yet,  but it probably makes the most sense overall.   I have been been over complicating everything.

My main purpose behind the individual loops,  in the easiest explanation possible,  is for future repairs,  if need be.  If I can remove the one loop and card,  it seems easier than draining a full system and then removing everything to get to one card.

***edit*** Going to make use of Koolance no spill quick connects for easy removal and replacement.

Would you suggest the parallel Ek-fc terminal or the series? I have an idea of how I am going to run everything, and I am standing by for the case to get here.

I would suggest serial, but this is a personal preference. I did serial because of the flow being set. Not sure if either make a difference with temperature. Mine runs at great temps, 30's during benchmarking, 40's during folding.

Thanks for the suggestion. I found that FrozenCPU sells the parallel, but I can't seem to find the serial. I will get the Parallel until I can find somewhere that will ship the serial to me. I will have quick disconnects, so I will be able to pull them with minimum fluid loss.

I got my serial bridge from them.  They do have a good relationship with EK and can get items pretty quickly.  I got my motherboard block in only a few days.  The 90 degree fittings I ordered have taken much longer than I would like, but I will not post my pictures until I have that last piece as my loop is a bit messy without them.  The parallel may work fine.  Never tried one, so I cannot say.

In my opinion there isn't much difference between the two. Some people prefer parallel and some prefer serial. Whatever works for you.

Derrick,
I ordered this item "EK CSQ G1/4 Thread 90° Fitting Adapter - Black (EK-CSQ Adapter 90° G1/4 Black)" from FrozenCPU on January 18th.  It seems this items has not been produced yet.  I have a number of things on this order that are being delayed by the arrival of this item.  There has never this long of a delay with an item from EK before.  Can you assist me in getting this item or at least finding out an ETA for me.  Thanks in advance for any information related to this.  I really need to finish my rig and the order, specifically these fittings, are the final pieces of my water loop.

Hi Grey_Beard,

Apologies for the late reply, I've had a bit of a hectic week, not in a good way sadly. Our fittings are one of the few products that we sadly do not produce in Slovenia and the wait between orders is sometimes quite large, especially with black I've noticed. I will check into when the next order is due and will be shipped to FrozenCPU.

There's a block for the mosfets:

P67 Sabertooth was the only Sabertooth to get a "full board" block for it.

Wants some love? I had to grab a few XSPC rads, and the EK ones were too thick, and I made the grave mistake of getting a Koolance pump.... But other than those 5 total items, everything is EK....

I really would love some thoughts, critiques and input on what else I can do. I am waiting on one last rad, two fans, and then I have to find a place to purchase the proper screws in a country that has a language I can neither speak nor read... LoL.

All in due time, I will have this up and running.
