Just a heads up for anyone wanting a 780Ti or K|NGP|N card, Jacob said on OCN that the 780 Classified block will fit those IIRC. Derick, I wanted to offer my opinion. I love the way that the Supremacy looks with CSQ, it gives it flair. But when it comes to GPU blocks, I would way prefer the aesthetics of the 200 series blocks, especially when it comes to nickle/plexi designs. The curves look a lot better (IMO) than some of the current squarish designs. Beveled edges would also look really cool, and add to the flair. (Edges on the Supremacy.)

Our 780 Classy block is confirmed to work for the 780 Classified, 780 Ti Classified and 780 Ti K|ngp|n Edition. By 200 series, do you mean the old Nvidia 200 series or the new AMD 200 series? The current lineup of blocks (Copper Plexi, Copper Acetal, Nickel Plexi, Nickel Acetal, Clean CSQ Nickel Plexi) has been our most successful line yet and satisfies the most customers. Our retailers would also be unimpressed with us if we offered more SKUs. I'm kind of confused on the beveled edges bit as I believe the GPU blocks feature the same beveled edge that the Supremacy offers. As we learned when we introduced CSQ, people don't like change. So we brought back older style blocks, just a little more square and they loved those. Now if we change either one of them people will complain more as we get requests for both designs. It's a never ending game but we must try and satisfy the most people.

Sorry, should have clarified that, but yes I was refering to the looks of the 200 series Nvidia cards. I actually hadn't checked out the AMD blocks for R9 290/X, but just did, and they are a lot better than the initial CSQ blocks I was thinking of. Regarding the edges I think you're right, I think it was just the pictures of the 780Ti blocks I was looking at where the edges looked almost completely square.

Maybe the EK guy or someone else can point me into the right direction. I have a 780 Classified that I recently installed with an EK waterblock. My problem comes with the Classified backplate that I really like that worked fine before the EK block. MY question is: is there a screw kit somewhere or something I can do to fit the Classified backplate to the EK waterblocked 780 Classy? I'd really like to avoid to drilling on the backplate if possible. Thanks in advanced.

Yeah, no offence to EK because I love their water blocks, but that backplate doesn't hold a stick with the EVGA backplate as far as looks go. I may just have to find custom screws for it. Now if they made a nickel plated backplate I could see spending $30 on it. But the plain black just doesn't do it for me.

It is possible to use the EVGA backplate with our block. Usually screws need to be about 2mm longer, m3x6 din7985 for example. We haven't tested this ourselves so we can't confirm 100% if those are the correct screws but somewhere around there and you'll be golden.

Just to let you know, I have all of your products in my rig. I love the look of what you produce. The all black and the logo are awesome. They create a great look. I have to finish my loop, but when I am done, you can see my rig on the site. Thanks for creating the great products and getting them out timely. I have had no issues installing the items nor have your instructions been missing any items of concern. Looking forward to EK's continue product expansion.
