    Perhaps we should get a petition going to have the EVGA community giveways locked for those that "participate" on the forums, similar to the EVGA Marketplace.

    Good idea. I know when I give things away every once in a while. I try to make sure its EVGA members only. You know ones that have decent post counts and been here a while. Not just some random that registers trying to get in on it.

    Locking it like the for sale section can only do so much.  Mousing over the topic of this thread reveals the code in it's entirety anyways whether you're logged in or not.  So private messaging is best/simplest.

    Not going to happen. I can tell you that right now. Here's the best idea though. The OP posts the rules of the giveaway, and the members have to follow them.

    People who do give aways should just use their head and not post it freely on their post rather they should send it to a person via pm and let them decide who to give it to. 
     
     
    But some people just dont have the time i guess to do that so they just post it freely. Its up to the op though how to handle it.
