got a reference edition gtx 780 from evga, and sometimes while playing a game,after a few small freezes/stutters, the system either completely freezes, or theres a black screen for a second and i get a message that the driver crashed.
 
iv'e had this card for over a yea, and it worked good up until about a week ago, where the crashes started to occur.
 
monitored temps, and they are all fine, and have also tried to go to previous drivers, didn't help.
 
not sure what i should do, but pretty frustrated, i still have my warranty as it is a 3 years warranty, so thinking maybe i should RMA.
 
would love to get your input on what i should do, or if the problem can be fixed.

Make sure you don't have ASUS Ai Suite & GeForce Experience installed, try driver 337.50, lastly try downclocking the card -105 from default clocks.

Can I ask, what game is it that is causing the driver to crash? I have started to have driver crashes but only on one specific game - Metro Redux 2033 (haven't tried the LL version yet). There's a few threads on Steam about driver crashes with that game in particular

ur problem is game related, it was in last light and now in redux 2033 too( same engine now).
 
i got crashes in mw2 and titanfall, so iam pretty sure its not game related.
