so today i noticed nvidia released a new driver, version 375.86 for the 10 series cards. here on evga's support page the driver for my ftw 1070 hybrid is 375.70

should i be updating to the .86??? do you all only use the drivers listed here on evga's page?

    For me, I wait until others have tried out new drivers. Nvidia has had a rash of really bad drivers recently, so I'm letting others beta test for me.

    The drivers posted here are identical to the drivers directly from Nvidia. They just have not updated them here, yet.

    EVGA E758/i7 980x 4.3ghz 1.36v
    12GB Corsair Dominator 2000C9
    GTX 980Ti w/GTX TITAN SC for PhysX
    Crucial M4 512GB SSD/2x WD RE4 Black 2TB 
    Corsair H50 Cooler/Corsair AX1200/Window 10 Pro

    Yeah, looks like these new drivers have a serious issue keeping the VRAM at very low speeds no matter what game played.
     
    Looks like Nvidia dropped the ball again and will need another hotfix.

    Running the vram at high speeds is a good thing. Why would you want the vram to run at low speeds when gaming?

    The issue is the VRAM running at 810Mhz max for certain configurations.

    stay away from the new drivers they are total crap, I was having quite a few issues gaming and FPS today with them.

    There's a thread for this driver on GURU3D where they are discussing this issue with VRAM speed. ManuelG from Nvidia is involved and looking for data.
