I bought a used 1080 Founders edition on ebay a few months ago. I understand that as the 2nd owner, I get the full warranty (minus Step Up and Advanced RMA) until 3 years after the original owner's purchase date. My question is, if I sell this card in a year when the "1180" cards come out, would that remaining warranty still transfer to the 3rd owner (as long as it's still within the 3 years)? All of the language on the EVGA website talks about the "secondary owner", but do they really mean "all subsquent owners"?

This would also include the replacement as well should you require our warranty services. The original transferable warranty (from the date we shipped the first card) will carry over to the subsequent replacements. 
 
Just for your reference, we keep track of this information in our records so we can determine the correct warranty length for the unit which you can determine at any time by submitting your SN to the Guest RMA page
