I cant decide to go for the DG-86 or DG-87 is the 87 worth the extra £30 for 2 fans and a couple of buttons for the fan controller?

I cant find any reviews for the 86 anywhere.

Also another question, i have a Coolermaster gold 1000w will i need extension cables for power if i buy this case.

    Hello sutt359,

The DG-86 and DG-87 case and the pretty much the same. Except for the button the DG-86 for fan controller is not available only software controls the fans, only come with 4 fan, and the color of the case is gunmetal grey. The DG-87 has a metallic gunmetal grey , button for the fan controller, come and come 6 fans. Its only £30 difference if you don't mind the £30, I would say go for the DG-87. Also if you used the coolermaster 1000w, you do not need any extension cables to connected to your components from your PSU.

    Hi Kev

    Thanks for the update.
What size fans does the case come with?

Also where would be the best place to mount a Corsair H100 in the DG8

The fans that come with the case are 140mm as default, but optional you can put a 120mm as well.

Will it support a Corsair H115i as it has a 280mm rad.

The H100 you can mount that top of the case. That will be the best location and position to mount the radiator. Also I did check on the H115 it has two 140mm fans on them and yes that will fit on top of the case as well. Because the top of the case support 3x 140mm fans that should have enough room to put the, those big radiator.

I would say the best place for the radiator would be the front where it gets fresh cool air from the outside and not hot air from inside the case like if the radiator is on top. I have my H100i in the front, you can check out my Mods Rig page to see pics if needed.
