Howdy! So I've been approved to step up to a GTX 1070 and I have the card out of my system. However, I forgot to reset my core and memory clocks before removing it. Should I reinstall my card and reset it back to the default speeds, or will it be accepted as is? I know overclocking doesn't void the warranty, and the cards current speeds are stable, but the information given through the step-up process is vague at best when it comes to whether an overclocked card will be accepted or not.

Thanks for your time!

The card should have at least al1 stock bios on it. Is your card dual bios with at least one stock bios?

Also, were the changes all made in precision?

If you used MSI afterburner or PRECISION to OC, then no.

That's software based and if you put the card into another PC the card will be at stock clocks.

If your flashed a VBIOS change, then I would flash back to the stock VBIOS.

I used Precision, so it sounds like I'm good to go. So unless it's saved in the BIOS of the card, all overclocking stays server side? Thanks for the prompt help!

Yep, you are good to go. Software over clocks don't follow the card, just bios changes.
