Hi,

I recently purchased(received it last tuesday) this graphics card and seem to be getting some problems. In ungine Heaven benchmark there is some strange, what I can only describe as 'bittyness' on the copper, reflective objects such as the copper roofing on the houses and the cannons(doesn't look good at all). I also get a bit of horizontal screen-tearing in certain places.

My setting for ungine heaven are:

Quality: Ultra
Tessellation: moderate
Stero3d: disabled
Multi-monitor: disabled
Anti-aliasing: x4

This is all on standard factory settings, no OC.

    Hi andymc1,

I am unsure if the 'bittyness' you are describing is an issue, or just how Unigine Heaven looks. To get a better idea of whats going on, I recommend running OC Scanner and using the artifact scanner to detect issues.

As for the horizontal tearing is concerned, that is normal to see if the frame rate of your monitor does not match that of your system. Enabling v-sync typically resolves that.

    Thank you.

Looks like a great piece of software. I did some initial testing with the artifact scanner and it's not picking anything up so far so you may be right about it being just how UH looks. I did see a video on youtube though of someone testing their r9 280 using the same software and didn't see the 'bittyness' which is why I though there might be a problem with my card.

My monitor is quite decent for 3d applications I think, It does 60hz. I tried vertical sync and that worked for getting rid of most of the tearing, but most scenes are now locked out at 30 FPS :/

That last post before yours is well over 6 months old so I assume their issue has been solved.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Bittyness ???????? (Deleted for Foul Language) is that ??????

As for the screen tearing thats normal especially for a 60hz monitor they are terrible compared to a 144hz monitor enable v sync even know v sync sucks but your getting screen tearing simple way to explain fps going high then low.

Also that benchmark does look pretty (Deleted for Foul Language) its been around a long time wouldnt worry about what your saying your card is fine go play some games and enjoy it.
