I just stepped up to the 970 FTW + from the original, and now I have artifacts on my screen everywhere without overclocking Do I have to RMA this? I did a clean install of the drivers, and even tried to re-install them a 2nd time and the issue still persist.

If you can't see them in the screen shots, it looks like is random red and sometimes blue dots eveywhere. They go away when you hover the mouse over them.

Run Fire Strike and post the link to your score. I high are you overclocking your CPU? Turn Off that Status software too.

If you wanted to show us the artifacts, youd have to take a picture with your camera and then upload that picture. When you screenshot... it wont reproduce any artifacts. Try another output on your video card Ex: If you get artifacts on DVI, try going to HDMI and see if they follow the input.

Issue doesn't exist on HDMI When wiggling the DVI port, the issue goes away

Brand new cable I bought last month. Haven't had issues with it with the previous card.

Might you have another cable to try? OR Might you have another computer that you can use this monitor on to see if the same thing happens? I would hate to warranty your card due to a bad cable. chrisb@evga.com iNoToRiOuS Brand new cable I bought last month. Haven't had issues with it with the previous card.

does the dvi port wiggle without a cable attached or is the end of the cable have a wiggle to it.

Either a bad cable or bad port on the card. I'd try another cable before RMA'ing. Just because it is a new cable doesn't mean that it isn't a bad cable.

I would also try reseating the card. Could be you were actually moving the cars a bit. More likely it is just the cable or port as others have said, but can't hurt to try. Also may try blowing out the port and cable end with compressed air in case some debris got caught in there, causing a bad connection.

Yes, the bios is flashed to latest version. I wiggled the display port and it seems to have fixed it for now. I think I should get the extended warranty in case anything pops-up again in the future.

I still would try a new cable. I think everyone would like to know if it is the port, or the cable.
