After months of frustration, the recent BF4 patch and the release of Afterburner BETA 18 have allowed me to develop a method of simultaneous video/data recording that works without issues! (screenshot) (Video demonstration) http://youtu.be/qa2mM5K0chk At last I can get to work on finishing my BF4 Guide .

So, you're benchmarking in windowed mode? *facepalm*

The windowed mode allowed him to show off the tools

You don't get accurate benchmark data in windowed mode...

I don't think that he's benchmarking. He's using Afterburner to record video, which I guess wasn't working before. Maybe the solution is to use windowed mode? It's a mystery until Maniac tells us!

Correct, no benching going on here, this is for settings and general performance numbers... And -no- I am not using AB for video recording. *(while RTSS records gameplay well (it cannot do desktop/game/apps at the same time) The program used is Camtaisa and it works very well with this complicated testing, in both Win7 and 8.1 This allows me to run each map and monitor in real time, while still having the recorded Afterburner graph data. And for real issues, will allow me to post excellent video documentation. There are some serious incoming map packs and newer drivers to be tested Afterburner 3.0.0 BETA 18--> now has both Core/HT Thread loading and temps, System Memory use and Pagefile Data graphing!! Thats GREAT STUFF for what I will be documenting

Ah, was majorly confused out of context. Personally, I suggest using something like Elgato Game Capture so you can totally abstract the capture off the main machine.
