Go to "setup" then click "update projects list". If that doesn't work, try "setup" then click "update FAH clients". Then shutdown and restart tracker.

He may it pretty clear to Update your projects list and update FAH Clients. Before stating restarting the program itself. Your downloading stale WU's somehow. It needs updating. Or delete the tracker completely n download the new one and double check updating the list and clients. If you read our posts, you may have solved your problem. Oh and if your going to do SMPs get a passkey as well.

So your saying without actually saying as of yet you completed Updating your "projects list" & "FAH clients". Sometimes it takes a few mins for the PPD to show up.

Well, i think i found the problem.. the problem is the 7200 WU, i checked the psummery, and it isn't there, hence no points and faulty deadline..

7200 is a legitimate work unit. You are correct that it is not in the psummary, however it is on Stanfords project list. This wu has had issues with being identified by both HFM and Tracker before. Usually all you need to do is update the client list for either program and that solves the problem. Eventually the programs will get the update and the problem will go away on its own. If you just let it run, you will get credit and points. More specifics here: Folding@home project descriptions Project 7200 Project 7200 The goal of this project is to study the mechanism of activation of the signaling protein Nitrogen Regulatory Protein C (NtrC) in atomic detail. NtrC is a prototype system in which the conformational change is key to regulating signal transduction in bacteria. The protein is capable of interconverting between two biologically important conformations, and this conformational change is crucial for its signaling function. Understanding the details of the mechanism of interconversion will help us elucidate one of the most frequent bacterial signal transduction pathways. Additional Details Points 484 Preferred Deadline 8 days Final Deadline 12 days This project uses the GRO-A4 FAH core software and is hosted by Folding@home server 129.64.95.82 Managers for this FAH project: This project is maintained by Francesco Pontiggia (pontiggi) and Dimitar Pachov (dpachov), researchers in the laboratory of Prof Dorothee Kern at Brandeis University. The focus of the research activity at Kern Lab is the characterization of internal motions that are at the basis for the function of biological macromolecules, with combined use of NMR experiments and molecular dynamics simulations

I don't know how many PPD my 2500k makes yet :).. have had two of those 7200 WU's now :).. i'll just wait them out, or add -advmethods tomorrow if they keep coming :).. they are not bad at all, only takes 3 hours to finish :)

Before you fold any more wu's on your CPU (SMP), please make sure you have a Passkey from Stanford. This will allow you get bonus points above the listed base points. Once you get your pass it you will have to "prime" it by completing 10 SMP wu's. The only reason I mention this is because in your screenshot above you do not have one entered.
My computer finds cures for diseases and searches for aliens when I'm not gaming...what does yours do?

Never thought about it... So what does the "prime" do for you? and do you know how I can verify my passcode is "prime"?

Listen to Kody young padawan and leeeaaaaarnnn you shall: This is why you should get a passkey: Eligibility for the bonus Eligibility is determined by the qualifications as described on Folding Forum: Quick Return Bonus Plan Qualifications - Run the latest SMP client (v6.29 or above).
- Configure that client with a passkey.
- Complete 10 bonus qualified WUs (curently a2 and/or a3 work units)...
- within their preferred deadlines...
- using the same passkey and fah user name combination
- on one or more of your systems.
- Successfully return >=80% of assigned [bonus] WU's.
Or. The bonus applies after you've done 10 a2 or a3 WUs provided you have used the same passkey and the same UserName on all applicable machines and provided you meet the 80% rule. Once that requirement has been met, the bonus currently applies to a3 WUs and to bigadv projects (at least for the time being). You can tell by looking at the last column of psummary. The last field in the summary is the kFactor which is the base for getting a bonus The bonus point formula Peter Kasson, the man behind much of the new SMP2 Beta client has defined the bonus formula as follows in Folding Forum: upcoming release: extra-large work units: Bonus point formula Briefly summarizing our bonus formula, the bonus is applied for users who have a passkey, have successfully returned at least 10 bonus-eligible WU's, successfully return >=80% of assigned WU's, and return the WU before the preferred deadline. Bonus points do not apply to partial returns. Our bonus formula calculates final points as follows: final_points = base_points * max(1,sqrt(k*deadline_length/elapsed_time)) Note that the max(1,...) ensures that final_points are never lower than base_points. We can convert this formula to points per day as follows: ppd = base_ppd * speed_ratio * max(1,sqrt(x*speed_ratio)), where speed_ratio is the machine speed relative to the Core i5, and x = k * deadline_length. To emphasize again why speed is important to the science consider this donor's post on Folding Forum: 10x bonus factor limit. A base worth of a project consisting of 470 points but when completed as fast as this donor's machine is capable of provided him 5149 awarded points. A stand alone calculator for the bonus points provided by third party developers is available as well. The most widely used monitoring programs can calculate the PPD with bonus factor included. Important things to remember - There is no guarantee that bonus points will be awarded, even if you are completely faultless. It doesn't matter if the Stanford servers are down, or your ISP is down, or an asteroid hits your house. If the fully completed work unit is not returned to Stanford before the deadline, no bonus points are credited.
- Make sure your passkey is the same when downloading and uploading a complete workunit or you will not receive the bonus. See: Folding Forum: kasson's post in 10x bonus factor limit.
- Partial work units (EUEs) are not eligible for the bonus, but partial base points may still be credited.
- Remember that your bonus status can be revoked. See: Folding Forum: bruce's post in A bonus question.

^ Priming your passkey is like validation your key is active n working n such, then after you do about 10 workunits you will start receiving the bonus points, thats when you know its working, extra points.

I have the same issues with SMP WU 7200 it just keeps coming on one of my rigs, tried everything to get any other WU including updating and reinstalling GPU Tracker V2, I ended up just Downloading the [link=mailto:F@H]F@H[/link] client from stanford the Ver. 7 beta. Now everything works again tho my PPD is down a litle from what it was before i dropped GPU tracker. KF
