hello, i saw that someone posted a question about the LED strip changing color in another thread but i think that it needs its own.  the pic above shows the colors of the strip now in my case. one led is still blue but the rest are a warm yellow or orange. at this point i still dont know if i will be needing this strip or not but in the mean time seeing a yellow EVGA logo is kinda gross...

hi, I have this problem also. My EVGA logo is now piss-yellow due to a discoloring of the LED strip. I guess I'll call the 888 number later to see what they say.
Side-note. I bought a 3rd party strip from Amazon for $3, and it also turned yellow after about a week. The actual transparent rubber-plastic stuff that covers the LED device has discolored. It's browning like most transparent plastics do after 10-20 years of age... only it's happening in a week.
It says I'm a superclocked member, but really I'm just here for the chicks.

Same here, and more are turning yellow as the days go by, but I'm going to swap it with the deepcool 350 strip that fits. 15 bucks and a bit of modding vs possibly returning the whole case for an led issue seemed more logical.

I noticed my Evga is lighting up with a yellow tint as well I have extra leds in the case that are white and they look so far can share a pic if needed

When I pulled the strip out, it seems that the lenses on the leds are burning out, becoming brown, hence the led's discoloring

My led strip is turning yellow as well, in fact I can't see any white spots left. The Strip is completely yellow now.

hi, i got the same problem. today only 3 of my leds are still white  i contacted supporteu. i hope new strips will fix this. are the people without problems with their leds?

Well, that's sad news. They're just sending out replacements without recalling and resolving the situation. I know this is about getting what we've paid for, but honestly... looks SO much better with a controllable RGB led strip there.. One thing for sure, they will get it worked out. I am good with the white LED as that is the theme of my build but RGB would have been nice however, there is no way to control it with the case alone. The Asus RVE10 had a RGB header on it but the x99 FTW K does not. I am using a Corsair Commander Mini that has RGB LED control but I just want the light white anyways. When I compare the old yellowed strip to the new yellowing strip, they look to be the same. It almost looks as if the plastic is being burned making it brown. This is causing the light to get a yellow tint to it.

Well, surprise surprise; Booted up today and all but one of the LED`s on the strip are now Yellow :(. Guess its time to call support.

Here are mine  will be contacting support. This photo was taken like a week ago, didn't have time to post but checked today all yellow.  They might as well send out 12 new strips...one for every month!  The plastic is like a dust magnet BTW.

I just received my case today. I want to replace the LED strip with a RGB but I couldn't remove the plastic piece that holds the strip in. Can some one please explain to me how to remove it before I brake something.

A week later and 7 more LEDs are yellow, it's like 1 a day is turning yellow. Over a 1/3 of my LEDs are yellow now :(

All of mine are yellow, but they seem to have settled down now. I'll probably try for replacement later in the month.

All of mine are yellow on the second strip. I will be going aftermarket not sure what I will get yet though.

Conclusion time!  it is how the LED is mounted inside that black plastic housing and tucked into a tiny corner completely restricted from any airflow that is making LED's brown. i just had my CableMod UV LED's brown, above pic. so take it from me, do not put an led strip there.
