I think my hard drives are over heating in this case. My hard drives are randomly disconnecting and when I check the event log the event just says "removed". I have 2 HDDs, 1 4TB and 1 6TB. The 6TB is brand new but both have disconnected at least once. I also have a 250GB SSD but it has not had this issue. If I check device manager they aren't even listed as recognized devices, just the SSD. Once I restart my computer they both come back fine. I have no idea whats causing this, but the only change to my system has been the new case. The 6TB drive wasn't installed until I got the case, thats how new it is. The 4TB is about 3-4 years old with no previous issues.

You can "edit" your first post and update your title DG-86 casehttp://www.evga.com/Produ...aspx?pn=100-E1-1014-K0 You get 2 fans on the left & 2 fans on right (optional 3rd can be installed) how are they mounted: Top, Middle, Bottom The bottom position looks to be best to move air around HD cages
