Yo! I was wondering if anyone that has traditional hard drives in the lower cages that could give me some temps?

I have one 6tb wd black installed in the back of the case, it gets as hot as 57C. Ambient temps range from 70 to 80F , though it is starting to cool down. Either way, I've never seen my HDDs get above 45c in past builds, with multiple drives, in mid summer, so I'm a bit concerned.

I am wondering if the back of the case is a bad place for traditional hard drives due to possible temp increases.

Thanks to all!

What are you using to measure the temp of the hard drive?  I also have mine behind the motherboard.

corsair link, hwinfo both with same temp readings.

It's down to 42c today. not as hot out, high 70s ambient. Was just hoping to see if others had readings from both locations. I'm not terribly worried about it, just curious over temp difference.
