Why does your Corsair Hydro radiator sit so low? Did you do Push/pull?

I left the fans inside the case below the radiator blowing out instead of outside the case in the upper compartment I plan on push / pull in the future is the reason

So 50mm in fans, what H series you have? It looks like it will either be 27mm or 30mm.. So like 80mm in thickness. I hope I can pull off a 85mm, 25mm fan+60mm radiator on the top, otherwise I may look into an thinner radiator for top, and leave the full size radiator on front.

I am running a h110i GTX 280mm and the radiator is flush to the top , but I still have some room below the fan and the top of the motherboard about a fingertip width

as long as you do not have fans on the bottom of your rad 60mm is the max on top.

You could mount the fans in the top to save room
    i guess

Here's a pic of the distance from the fan to the motherboard

Awesome, thanks, looks like an extra 5mm is there  -- Now its on to determining if using 120mm fans up there will look stupid, it looks like there will be a gap on either side. Might need to go with dual 420mm res, instead of dual 360mm.

Also looks like the DG-87 has an issue with 24pin length? I may need to order custom extended 24pin for my build. I saw manbearpig ran it on front side of the case, and sourmonkey you were able to run yours along the back?

Negative I routed mine like manbearpig and went to the front but I hid most of it in the basement and behind the Evga plastic shield I literally liked about a inch or less from being able to secure it may be able to run it with the ssd tray behind the bottom gromet removed but I'm using that for my boot drive

    I'm running a Evga 750G2 p/s

With room to spare, or just barely? In terms of how much cable you had left after connecting.

Actually, I should add more details. >_< With a EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2 Power Supply and both basement HDD towers removed, I have plenty of wiggle room with the 24 pin going behind the tray. Tonight I will take some pictures to show.

I routed mine to the back though, not sure why yall think I went through the front.  You can see in this picture all of my PSU cables going to the back with the MB on top.

In this next pic you can see the 24 pin comes out the grommet right next to the mobo 24 pin connector.  You only see about an inch of the 24 pin cables coming from the back.

If I had enough cable length I actually would have made it come out from the farther grommet because I really like the look of the cables.  And in this next picture you can see all of the PSU wires being redirected through the back.

And for reference, I have an EVGA 1600 G2 PSU with their individually sleeved cable set (http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-CR-1300-B9) and the 24 pin WAS able to be routed to the back.

So it looks like you have what, like 2-3" of 24pin cable left? I see your 24pin connects horizontally, instead of vertically. I am wondering if I will have enough slack to get some cable combs in there, I might have to order a 700mm cable.

EDIT: Also, my Corsair AX1200i probably will have more cable too, since my 24pin is on the right hand side, looks like the EVGA ones are on the left, so it takes that much more distance to reach the motherboard.

Ya, not sure exactly how much slack I have, but I have a little bit of extra 24 pin cable.  Oh, and this EVGA 24 Pin cable is 600mm just so you know.

Yeah, 600mm is pretty standard for ATX, guess I will have to see what I have to work with, would like to dodge having to spend $50 on a new 700mm ATX to get hte look I want haha.

Here is my Rig, DG-86 built today. The 24 Mobo pin for me had to be routed to the front on a 750 Watt EVGA, Gold I think. Another weird problem I am having is trying to plug the molex fan connector into a molex power wire Causes the PSU to immediately stop, and will only start for brief pauses and remain off until I reset the power or CMOS. Ill try a different molex wire and in a different PSU port later, this took me about 4 hours to do and I'm wiped.

    Specs:
    I7-5820k @ 4.2ghz (stock 3.30)
EVGA 980Ti Classified (Max OC is 1497mhz)
48 Gb Crucial 2133 mhz DDR4 ram (For 4k Video editing when needed)
    Main Drive: 512gb Crucial SSD
Storage: 750gb WD green, 2TB WD black
Motherboard as pictured, MSI SLi X99s
Main Screen is an AOC G-sync 144hz 1080p monitor. Ive honestly not noticed a difference in anything, even at low fps with g-sync on or off, but the 144 fps is really really nice

Like everyone else, I'm still tweaking my build.  I have all of the components installed, but I'm still working on the finishing touches like LED strip placement, cable management, etc etc.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a good suggestion for the best place to place an LED strip?  Thanks

Pic 1: the big box! See that brown thing next to it?  Yeah, that's a full-sized saddleback briefcase (it can fit a 17 inch laptop) so yeah, the box is mammoth
