Dang, these like to sneak up on me lol. I try to keep tabs on them but not feels like I blink and they're here lol. Going to try and do some loop maintenance and re-routing and hopefully that will help with temps while crunching in the next week or so.

The longest challenge of the year I think. Thanks for the reminder.

So I just did some testing and as we know, these are some long WU's.
    Woodall's on a 2500k @4.0 took 38 hours running 2/4 threads.
Cullen's took about 32 hours on 2600k @4.4 running 2/4 threads. The wu's slowed considerably running 4/4 threads. 3/4 may be the sweet spot for me.

Admittedly these 2nd gen i-5 and 7's are old and hopefully newer chips that support faster ram can be quick enough to allow an extra set to be completed.

    Challenge = 216 hours divided by 38 hours = 5.7 sets.
                     216 hours divided by 32 hours = 6.75 sets.

Is anyone going to fire up a multi P rig for this?

I may do a set on the G34 6172, depends on how warm it is out.
There have been some big temp swings this Spring.

Looking at completed WUs cullin and woo that I did a while ago, there was only a 1000 or so point difference.
Woo takes, up to 20 hours longer to finish. Both get a 20% long WU bonus

I think I'll stick to doing the shorter time estimated time units

Ditto on both of yodap's statements! Currently crunching 2 of each Cullen and Woodall.

I knew this would happen. I completely forgot about it. And now I can't get up and running until tonight. I guess I'm going to have to start putting reminders in my phone so I don't forget.

    Ya, our regular fifth

After delivery of some Woo's, it seems PG refill with Cullens only. At least that's what I got.
If anyone have narrowed the work units to Woodall, it could be wise to keep an eye on it in case they pause the shorter Woodall production.

I'm set to get both but my first set was 5 Cullen and 4 Woodall's. My next set is 8 Woodall's and 1 Cullen.

Duke kicked us out of 5th place. As a team 5th is where we finish in many of these PG challenges. Not bad for a small team I believe.

Still time to join in if you have a fast CPU that has AVX. Socket 2011 or newer.
An overclocked i7 at 4ghz or more if you start sometime in the next 18 hours or so.
Watch temps if overclocking. Make sure you have a stable system.

I apologize to you all. I just got up and running. But I'm going all out now @ 4GHz on my 5930K. Sorry for the delay, hopefully the 2011-V3 CPU's like to eat these units for dinner.
