Nice idea punchy but Id rather let the contest run it's course not fair to the others still vying and it would mean making a mockery of the contest... NO MORE FUSS and Im still waiting to see who pulls what rabbit out of the hat.

Punchy I think what we should do is finish this second round and declare a team winner somehow (perhaps total points during the week, or from the start). Honestly any bragging rights for this competition have been tainted by all the shenanigans anyway. From then until the end of the month have a Monster Death Match(TM) pitting the two brackets against each other, no holds barred, bring everything you own. With everyone (including Diplomacy) bringing all they've got I think that could be a pretty interesting matchup. If thats what everyone wants, it certainly can be arranged. At the moment this round seems to be relatively competitive. Teams in 3 out of the 4 races are within 1 BigAdv drop of each other...

kewl... it was really my intention all along to chilax after Thursday night. now i'm gonna go for most total average ppd (since i'm in third place and producing already why not) and then i'll bring it down a couple of notches and re-tool for a possible grudge match. the only thing that disappoints me is that i wish that our REAL points would be shown rather than the handicap its such a drag. i'd ask to have it removed and put back after the round, but i'm afraid it might spoil some diapers and nobody wants that. for the record, the single biggest overproducer after me is at 825% which if i matched that would give us 3,934 contest points and this would put us ahead of the prophets' 3,692 with a difference of just 242. the next largest over-doer in the contest after that is beating their projections by 698% if i matched him, our score becomes 3692.5 with a margin of error that is too close to call. if we look at just the prophets, bowlinra basically is me, except hes producing 250ppd... how very suspicious. anyway, i'll leave it up to the prophets. if you want to push yourselves, pick one of those targets and go for it. otherwise, i'll leave it at 120ppd. to date, i have produced 580cppd meaning that i would need to produce roughly 120 cppd (or 850 points total) to meet the 825% number. I WILL be shutting down the system tomorrow night. we will see if i decide to revive it for that last 2 days in march if we think we can get 750M or 800M. my 3930k is what i signed up for and its what i will continue on with.

My proposal is not so much to do with the closeness of any race but rather with the ethics of what it will take to win. I'll follow up with a post in the main contest thread.

I would like to apologize for contributing to the rash of bad sportsmanship in this contest, especially since it directly impacted this team. In my opinion, diplomacy's points should not be omitted form your team total. It is not fair since, once the handicap was removed, almost everyone started producing more than their estimates and no one else has had points omitted. We should all strive to fold with whatever we can for the duration of the contest.

sorry prophets Im not going down this road again. My decision is final - I went to the team capts and was shot down - Im not re-visiting. No more hard feelings... I don't want things to change because Im out of future contest or any one else is PO'd ..That's not fair either... That would be like pressuring teams to change their minds or to change the rules fold your hearts out for the 800 goal and for your team. GO TEAM EVGA We'll stick to what been given to us both as a team and in decisions made during the contest everyone made their bed, including me. It's over if we make a stand Id rather make if for the right reasons. if you get all warm and fuzzy on me I might quit for sure - and leave this contest early As far as Im concerned We are in dead last and Id rather stay there if anyone change things I'll definitely quit folding during the contest - that means the cap stays. dip can still fold for the 800 if he wishes- just no extra points for the team

Sorry people I admit I usually do NOT read the other teams threads, and focus mainly on our own. I personally feel that what I like about the contests is I can fold using my name, not effect what I would do normaly, and participate in an event. I try to guess my output, but fold no more that I could contest or no contest, all you got is all you got, and my electricity subsystem will not allow my other systems to run while these are. as such I don't care if we win or lose, because I am doing all I can do. I would vote we let people fold whatever they can, that's what I am doing. Admittedly I was a little off on my estimate, Imposable to be exact when stanford changes the point system, and you get the WU they give you. at the end of the day, I fold to fold, not to win contests. I try to do my 3-4 million every month no matter what. so I don't care one way or the other what they do with the rules. Keep in mind This is just my opinion.
