Looks like PG could use some help crunching some PSP Wus. They are short WUs but still carry the long WU bonus and conjecture bonus. I'm going to help out a bit for a couple days. More info here. PrimeGrid: PSP Double CheckSince the demise of the original Prime Sierpinski Project (PSP) two years ago, PrimeGrid has been continuing its own work on PSP. The time has come to double check all of the PSP tasks done external to PrimeGrid. All of our own PSP tasks are already double checked. The double check tasks are a lot smaller than the normal PSP tasks, but there's a lot of work to be done. If you have some spare computing power and would like to contribute, you may do so by selecting "Prime Sierpinski Project LLR (PSP)' on the PrimeGrid preferences page. This is a CPU-only project. More details and discussion can be found in this thread: http://www.primegrid.com/forum_thread.php?id=7093

bill1024, With the Current Sierpinski (ESP/PSP/SoB) Sieve (suspended) do you think a new Badge is coming out for the New PSP?

I don't think so Bill, I guess a lot of work was lost, but not the work from PG, the more helping they figure they can get it done. May not be a bad Idea to ask about a badge though. Right now we are double checking work all ready done, not sure if we would even get in the record book if we find primes. And yeah, schedule 2 pain relief, (supposed to relieve anyway) I had the procedure done last Thursday, my back is wack to put it mildly. I would not wish this on anyone. This too shall come to pass. That's my motto, will be my epitaph too.

It is running WCG 7/24, it takes about 360 Watts Per PSU and so far under Server 2012R2 it seems very stable. It is running Cooler than my T630 by about 10C Per CPU. But AMD CPU is stall really Slow Compared to the New Xeons in my T630. I will most likely keep it on WCG until the end of the year and then rotate between other BOINC Projects. Thanks for asking Bill

I had a system fail today, went up stairs and it was off. Pulled it all apart and figured it to be a bad PSU. I have the MB on a wood table with a different PSU, with everything hooked back up and it is running fine EVGA 850G fail on me, At least the case is empty now, ready for a good cleaning. Oh Bill, I asked about a helpers badge in the thread at PG, no, no extra badge, but you may find primes with the smaller WUs.

http://www.primegrid.com/result.php?resultid=752950045Run time 192,221.59 CPU time 191,951.94 This was a Long One. Maybe (23,136.55) Points. I only hope that the New Prime Sierpinski Problem (LLR) v7.06 Tasks are not all this long.
