    Nice, i'm running Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 @3000but but the "standard" version, mine looks well smart, but the black version looks the bees knees

    WOW, I dream for one Blackout kit 4x8GB CMD32GX4M4C3200C14M... 
    But no one could say what will happen with Skylake Xtreme. Maybe they are compatible, maybe not. If someone ask me, they should be QVL for Skylake Xtreme. It's stupid to invest in memory for one chipset only. Even I doubt my IMC could achieve 3200. Because of that Skylake Xtreme will easier work on that speed, 2666>3200...
    Both version are nice only for different configurations... Blackout is my favorite.

    my 5960x(haswell-e) the default memory speed is 2133Mhz but when OC'ed it reaches 3879Mhz(OC), one thing to note thow  the official heatsinks and fans for the Corsair memory are not good(huge monsters) one of the many reasons i don't use them is because they block pci-e_1 slot dunno if the "black" version they might have shrunk them a bit but i doubt it! my Doms are not on the QVL for my x99e-ws but they work a treat, QVL's are not updated regularly so can't really be believed.
