I have a Corsair 750TX that is starting to become a little flaky on me. I'm getting some strange problems where my computer won't boot up. It could be the motherboard, but last time this happened, I did the "paper clip" PSU test, the PSU spun up, and after I plugged in the 24-pin connector to my mobo, it booted up again. Also, there are some burn marks from melted plastic on the 24-pin connector. One of the "fingers" is completely exposed due to the melted plastic. I want to know whether I should RMA this power supply but I would rather not if I can avoid it in any way. I would really like to call Corsair and speak to a technical rep but no matter how hard I try, I can't find a phone number on their website. Also, anyone have experience with Corsair RMA?

Yeah... looks to be 1-510-657-8747 When looking for a manufacture number the best place ive found to be able to get a number is from neweggs manufacture list. It won't let me link directly, but what you have to do is just go to their Help/Support tab from the main page, then on the right side it has a manufacture tab that you can use to find all the contact numbers and sites for everything they sell.

Based on your first post, DO NOT USE THE PSU ANY MORE. If you are getting that sort of heat, you have been pulling WAY too much current at some point. Use the link above for TSX Express and start an RMA.

Thank you to Corsair for having a rep on these boards. I knew I could count on you guys. What could possibly make my computer pull that much power off of the 24-pin rail? I have run through a couple PSU calculators and they all state the TDP of my system under full load should be about 600 Watts (this is when running Folding@Home with 2 GPUs and a CPU). The 750TX should provide more than enough power for this task, no?

I RMA'd 750tx, and RAM on many different occasions and LOVE their support. Corsair is the only PSUs and RAM I buy.

Is there any expedited time frame on the RMA or will it really take 5 days. I have a rather important Statistics ASA exam coming up and I need my computer to access the online practice tests that I paid quite a bit of money for.
