Hi All,\
So I bought a 980 Ti ACX 2.0 more than a month ago. I've never had a problem with graphics card noise (I was fine with my EVGA 680), but this one is really too noisy for me under load. I have run Precision X and tuned it to "quiet" but it is still more than I'd like.
So, it looks like the fact that my board is ACX makes things a little difficult when it comes to cooling replacement solutions. I have seen a lot of confusion about reference boards vs non-reference board component placements, and I really don't want to end up with a fried board because I tried to do something too exotic.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just try to sell this one for what I can get and get something like a hybrid, or has someone come up with a solution that doesn't require too much craftsmanship?
Thank you!
