As the title say, i am interested in these cards however there are little reviews online that cover load temps and fan noise.

A few questions i have are
- How are the stock and OC load temps on the 1st and 2nd bios
- How loud are the fans at 1/2 and max rpm
- What are some stable OC's you all have achieved

Thank you for any help!

I know this is not exactly an "answer", but it gives a nice review on the SSC model, and it does a nice comparison witht he Titan. see here : http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/82060-evga-gtx-970-ssc-sli-vs-titan-x-r9-295x2/

However, the article does go in depth regarding the noise and temperature, and compares it to other cards.

I have the 2974-KR which is the SC ACX 2.0 and the fans get louder than a jet engine at 100% and will shake the card but the fans never go over 50% without setting a costum fan curve. Idle temp is 40C and the fans turn off which is nice for movies etc. heavy load like in 3dMark is 70-75C. Normal gaming load is 60-70C. I would say it's safe to assume all the ACX 2.0 cards performe the same. The blower style is more for SLI, or at least I've been told.

Right now I have two GTX 970 SSC cards in SLI running folding at home while writing this. It's in a fantastic Corsair 780T case. I have the cards separated as they are in slots 1 (primary) and slot 3 so that both cards have room to breathe. I am running a 4K monitor. The primary card temp is 73 degrees and the fan is at 1547rpm. The 2nd card in the 3rd slot is 69 degrees running at an rpm of 949. My Corsair 780t fan controller is set for maximum and the case fans are louder than the cards. If I change the fan controller to low the case fan noise is much lower but the card temps go up a couple of degrees each. The case fans are still louder than the cards. I find the cards to be very quiet and I have played every game with all max eye candy on and not once has the video card fan speed ever approached 50 percent. Quiet operation and smooth performance.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I run two of the newer 970 SSCs in SLI with a 4K monitor. I switched them to adaptive power through the control panel and for regular email, web browsing etc, the fans never come on. The 60C temperature is never reached. I do have a case fan that blows right on them from above. For gaming I've maxed them out and even at the highest fan speeds, they really weren't much louder then my case fans. When they are under 1000 rpm, I don't hear them. I did instal the backplates on them which didn't make much of a difference, and they are in a TT X-9 horizontal case. So, the cards are mounted vertically if that makes a difference. I've had no problems with mine in any games, and they even light up the EVGA Pro SLI bridges.

It idles in the low 40c for me but I and other people form the looks of the forum have been getting problems with the cards loosing video signal randomly. So keep in mind that you might receive a faulty card and you'll probably have to RMA, mine isn't even a month old and I've been having that problem since the 1st week, I think I will have to do the RMA if I don't find another solution.

As my system is dead; I will not be able to help much with current temps.

Though it easily clocked to 1500 boost clock and 8000 memory clock. On idle it was at 35 and at load it use to go till 70 but I do not recall the fan curve I set for this. The fan do get very noisy above 50% IIRC.

    I own a SSC version

    Intel 4790K, Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK,
EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACK 2.0,
