Hooking up a printer in Windows shouldn’t pose a problem – especially with this guide. However, since this is the real world, the article talks about what to do if your printer connection fails.      Link

I've had printer troubles with every Windows OS since I started with Win 98...It seems they can never get things right. And when you try to reliably share a printer with other Windows PCs...forget it. Whenever I need that important document from another computer it'll never print the first time, but something stupid or random will. It's always been for me whenever I need something important done, Windows will fail me.

My printer was fine, but I had to do a reinstall to get the scanner recognized as a USB device.  Even though an all in one...Epson Expression Photo X-960.  Now, all is good!

My new wireless printer seems to work okay so far, however Windows 10 seems to like to notify me that it couldn't connect to the printer yet it still spits out what was sent to it without an actual issue...Odd

What's the printer you are using?
