I have a Sammi 850 Pro 500 gb that has filled up quickly, have a spare Sammi 850 Pro 250bg and a Western Digital Black Edition 3TB drive.Going to upgrade my 8.1 to Windows 10 and what would be the most useful way to configure these 3 hard drives.Operating system,Steam account with a ton of games,Origin account(BF4/Star Wars) and alot of pics/business related garbage stored.I have been using the 850 Pro 500gb by itself and love the speed, but I need more storage. What I am thinking,1)850 Pro 250 for operating system and Origin acount 2)850 Pro 500 gb for Steam Account(adding games constantly) and WD Black 3tb for all my storage needs.Really don't want to screw this up my 1st time.

Use an SSD as your boot and apps drive, then use whatever you like for the other stuff. Putting the Origin/Steam stuff on the bigger SSD isn't an issue, or even putting it on the 3TB drive if it's 7200RPM or better. You can reduce the load on the OS SSD by moving your user folders to the HDD. See the guide here for more info. Another good idea is to make a 32-64GB partition on the HDD, and put your pagefile on that. Putting the pagefile on the HDD reduces the reads/writes to the SSD, and having in its own partion prevents fragmenting. See the guide here for moving the page file.

You can use the smaller SSD as a boot drive and create a 'Games' Folder in Program Files(x86) and mount the 500 GB SSD to that Games Folder and install your games there. This is the method I used when I only had a 60 GB SSD and still use when I build a PC using a small SSD: http://www.maximumpc.com/how-to-optimize-your-windows-profile-and-media-storage-with-a-ssd/
If you ever need to restore a System Image you'll need to dismount the Games SSD or it will get wiped.

You could also partition the 3 TB drive and create a 1 TB partition for a Games installation area.
When prompted where to install your games just redirect it to Program Files(x86)\Games.
