OK I have this problem whit my new GTX 1080 FTW which I got yesterday. First of all I get heavy coil vine then card get to do work (game - benchmark - furmark) then card is not on heavy load no vine. Also vine stops after 2 - 3 min of heavy load (constant like furmark) but in games you dont get that constant heavy load. Also I have another problem apart coil vine , my 1080 FTW has only 3 colors blue , yellow and white if I change other color it wont change from those 3. On demo versions 1 and 4 cycle only those 3. I thought that this card RGB. You can select other colors in precision menu but card wont show other colors apart those 3. I have coil whine when running benchmarks and when gaming. I have a new psu on the way on Saturday. If it's still bad then I'll need to contact evga about it.

Also companies like EVGA declares that they using TOP notch components. Or they lie or companies supplying them lie.

Just a suggestion, don't use furmark. Nvidia drivers throttle it because it was killing GPU's.

Also, what are your system components? Power supply age? I can not see signatures, so if your stuff is listed, could you copy and paste it for us?

Pull your card, and look and the PCI bracket side. You should see a 4 pin plug that is white between the cooler and pcb, if I am not mistaken (may be on the end of the card or a black plug). See if you can give it a push and verify it is fully seated. It may be at a slight angle, and not have a good connection.
