ocverclock333 outstanding job. I have been waiting for someone to top me. Well I am out of town but when I get back and replace my dead pump, I will once again go for 4.8 which is my personal goal.

I finally found the time to sit down, and get my system stable again after the latest BIOS update really screwed up my overclock. I really need to sit down and put more effort towards this as I can either go higher MHz at same volts or same MHz at lower volts.

Im saving for a Vaporchill for my 920 but you seem to get some pretty nice temps. I use a water chiller made from a window air conditioner... very cheap and easy to make... many of the posters in the "Get It Colder II" thread in the evga overclocking forum have made one. There is a link in my signature on how I made mine and also many in the old "Get It Colder" thread at the old EVGA forum. Just about every overclocking forum has build logs on these. They are actually cheaper to set up than a good water system as you don't need radiators... and yes... you can go subzero with them! *WARNING!* once you start using chilled water or anything that will "Get It Colder"... you will never turn back!

So I was running some 4.75GHz stress testing today and got the strangest error ever...the screen loses the full color and turns either 8-bit or locks up in R or B in primary RGB color spectrum (3 colors). It's the most weird thing. I think that my video card may be barfing at high BCLK or something...I have no other explanation... Thoughts? I feel like at the moment this is the only hurdle stopping me from crossing into the mid 4.7s.

Thing is it only happens when I OC the CPU past ~225-ish BCLK...but I really cannot see it being the CPU though...it makes no sense. It is clearly a video artifact (i.e, freeze).

When you run your clock at 225, are you raising your PCIE clock and upto what if you are? Are you increasing vdimm and vtt along with vtt and cpu pwm? Are you increasing qpi pll and ioh pll and a little bit on ioh vcore?

eppopipe ^^ nice OC on air!! would you please pm me your bios template (want to compare) thanks! Yes... he has a "Golden" chip... if you notice his batch # 3845B026... it is probably the best know batch ever and would probably do an easy 4.8ghz - 4.9 ghz stable on good water or chilled water! (Don't get any ideas there expedision! ) So if he gives you his settings... keep that in mind.
