chump7431 I DID IT!!
Can anyone read this image and the results? If so, tell me how. It looks like it's less than a 25000 problem size, but I can't be sure.

Yeah there was times i couldn't get 25k to work but just right under it.  To fix that I just rebooted my system and was able to.  Can't call it on why it was doing that.

Ok well here is the thread I am starting for us here on the new forums. It took me forever to get to login but I finally made it on. I know that grd003 has made the thread for it, but I want to start it here so I can still keep up with all of the updating and what not of this thread. So here we go, lets start fresh and clean and keep the post coming!

This is a club for the EVGA community for those of us who love and enjoy to OC our core i7 CPUs. It is for those who wish to post their results and build our comminity to help others if need be in reaching a goal they wish to achieve with their rig.

In order to join Club i7 Stability , you must post ONE screenshot containing the following:

1. At least 20 runs of Linx passed with no errors, using a problem size no less than 25,000
(This will require your system to have around 4.8 GB of free memory, which should not be a problem for the majority of core i7 users. Allowing Linx to load and then unload seems to free up some additional memory.)

LinX 0.6.3 IS A REQUIREMENT!

LinX 0.6.4 can be downloaded from this site and I will keep it updated to the newest version for future people to see and use.

http://www.xtremesystems....howthread.php?t=201670

2. CPUz front tab showing your overclock, voltage, and threads.

3. Real Temp showing your min/max temperatures before and during linx.

4. Include a notepad shot with the screenie having your EVGA username DO NOT DO IT SEPARATELY...include it with everything else for ONEscreen shot. Example:

It eliminates the chances of accusation of the results being fake or not theirs

5. HT is your preference, but the stats will be divided into two sections. HT on and HT off

6. The i7 MUST be OC'd to 4.0Ghz or above. (Those of you who have 3.8,3.9 etc...I encourage you to reach the goal of 4.0 and enjoy the process of getting yourself there.)

7. Please post the following ABOVE THE SCREENSHOT:

Core i7: (whichever you have)   Batch #:
CPU clocked at:
Voltage:
Idle temps:
Load temps:

Here is the link and a picture of the badge for our sigs for you to show (if you choose to do so)

a larger image is available here:
[link=http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss273/speciesss/coreI7_stability_MD_Full.jpg]http://i583.photobucket.c..._stability_MD_Full.jpg[/link]

We will also organize the from highest Ghz to lowest...

This allows you to show your hard work into making it more stable than before.

TRASH TALKING IS PROHIBITED...

We are all here on these forums for a reason and that is to converse about things and give each other guidance and help for whatever need it may be.

Please read this
if you get the urge to lash out at someone or someones views.

http://forums.evga.com...1&key=%F1%B6%A2%A6

I hope to see everyone posting their results and this club for EVGA really take off. Thank you for your time and LETS SEE THOSE RESULTS!!!

Updated posting with a new run.
ScimC33,
The link to my picture of the older run (flyingduck88) is not mine. It is linked to the Mcniglet picture (just above my old run)?? If you could update my posting when you can I would appreciate it. Thank you!

I love the heatkiller waterblock, 3 of the 4 core never broke 70s.  My mosfet was getting close to 70 even with 2 small fans on it.  Enjoy

Yes, the parts arrived in the mail throughout last week and I started putting it together over the weekend, from scratch.  This is my first X58 system, although I have worked with plenty of 775 quads.

I loaded the operating system (W7-64) at stock clocks and then it went straight over 4.0.  Based on the temps and voltage, this combo seems to have a lot more to give.  Not quite calling Shockthemonky out yet, but it shows some potential.

I have to thank all of you guys that post and help for all that you do.  I am not sure if this is any sort of a feat, but my settings were baselined from a compilation of info that I extracted from these forums.  It has yet to BSOD, reboot, fail to boot, lock-up, or flag any type of error whatsoever, not even in LinX.  With the right components, and the information available here, this was honestly not much of a task.  Obviously the challenges will come later, but getting over 4.0 required no effort.

Thanks all

*UPDATED*

1. Flyingduck, your post should be good now on the list...

2. ndtran and kiki, I really appreciate the post and participation, but could you do it again with a problem size of 25k+ then post again so I can add yall?

3. chememan, congrats on your new system being 4.0 efficient...I notice it was with HT off. I suggest and encourage you to have some fun and get the PC to 4.0 with HT ON...give it a shot. I bet you can make it work.

4. Can everyone PLEASE remember to post your results and INFO like the example shows in the original post please. Im still digging around fixing everyone's initial info they give me.

Thank ya!!!
