I have to say that I'm not feeling the way that some of you do about CC, especially after to hearing from the contest's designer.
 
XZ, I think you are glossing over Adak's bad behavior when you say that we don't "understand him".  His tone and what he said was not "playful", it was downright insulting.  I actually found interacting with Zodak a whole lot easier IMO.
 
We tried (back several pages in this thread) to get you guys to slow down and do this thing right.  The next thing we heard was CC was "on".  Then we end up with this bit of a mess.  I do get that it has been difficult to get Teams to participate and make decisions when they are needed.  But what we are doing now is conceding to not building the contest correctly.  If you want to call me names, continue to label me as a "whiner", go right ahead because I'm not buying that response at all. 
 
The problems with CC are that we can't actually work among Teams to make the contest right and fair.  I don't have to participate in that kind of contest to feel right about Folding and I will not do it.  I'm out, will not participate in CC this year and likely never will again.  I think [H] actually has the right thinking about CC because of all this crap we go through trying to get it running every year.  I actually agree with them that it does not build teams and seems to do more damage that good.

Just wanted to clarify something.  I'm not expecting anyone to "go with my feelings".  They are mine and I'm not trying to sway the overall team with them.  All I'm saying is that in my gut, I have a problem with the contest and am very tired of it and see no real benefit to CC.  The "idea" of what CC is supposed to be has been lost and I am far from the only one that has come to that conclusion (including entire other teams).  Do we just continue to ignore that fact and say do it anyway?  I can't.  I could go ahead, buck up and Fold in CC, but I see no reason to do it.  I can Fold, Crunch whatever and I am not letting anyone or anything down just because I don't want to do it within the confines of this contest.  If the majority of the team (or any percentage for that matter) wants to go ahead with CC, I have no opinion on that either way.  I'm just following my own feelings about this stuff and expect that however others feel is just as right for them.  Peace fellow team members.

Some do not like seeing others have success and always work hard to bring you down to their level to claim a win.

Any one team can win a ten day event. What is that same team doing the other 355 days of the year?

This thread has run it's course...   Time to switch gears to the official 2013 CC thread.   I am going to fold for team EVGA at the same level of participation regardless of the emotion of the moment. I am damn proud to work with you and see the misguided comments of those not on our team to just be opinions.. Nothing more.   I am going to focus on why "We" fold. Phht to the Haters!
