drougnor C'mon, folks! We've got a severe lack of EVGA folks representing in the irc! It's a freaking OCN-fest in there!!
That is because they know they won the title, and are covering up for their insecurities of losing the war...

Keep the faith fellow Apes and remember above all that we are here to have some fun no matter who wins or loses CC. Most of the Teams participating feel that way too. Based on the "challenge" it was to even get CC 2012 going this year, it is remarkable that we are here doing it right now! Lot's of good science being done by all the teams, so go fling sumpin, crank that poop up, and all will be good in the end!

You guys hit the nail on the head! It's great to bring people together for a good cause. Even if all we do is expose a bunch more people to folding and the real difference it can make, it's a win win for all. A big thanks to everyone who has cobbled this contest together. I know a lot of effort has gone into it. GO EVGApes!

I'll add my agreement to that! I have a TON of fun catching up with the other teams at each CC. Always thrilling to see the raw numbers we put out as a whole climb each time, too!

Our current daily average is 2.2 million. EVGApes as a user should hit spot number four this year on the team ranking.

Saw this posted at OCF, better get to work guys::: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=707563&page=14
Day 4, 5:30 am update:
Our lead has increased just slightly to 46.4 points!
We have been successful in attracting some fine folding guests from the mighty [H]orde ([H]ardOCP)! This is the team that everyone with multi-processor server boards, looks to for advice. Big
Our immediate goal has been to out fold EVGApes, in raw points, moving us up to a higher score on the Points category, and boosting us up in the overall score, as well.
It's working!
Here's a comparison of the last two updates from EOC: (Times are changed to Pacific Daylight Time Zone)
Overall, EVGApes still have the advantage of raw points over us, in the race - but we're gaining!
Code: [link=http://forums.evga.com/][/link] Name 1:00 am 3:00 am Total ========================================================== EVGApes 0.840 0.824 1.664 Million T32monkeys 1.811 1.260 3.071 " Sub-Total: 1.407 Million, in our favor!
And as usual... Other teams recruit from teams that chose to not participate... They fight us tooth and nail about being "Fare" and base the rules on the teams normal production, well there they go proving why that is not a good idea. Same thing year after year... Just imagine, if we made that a focus of ours the screaming and yelling that would open up... Good for them, camaraderie is worth a lot and a very good thing. Nothing wrong with that being a focus for them, just slaps the "Fare" bantering in the face. I like our focus better, get new folders, have fun, and lose with Honor... And we are doing great at that this time!

Not surprised. After reading a bit of the argument over the points system this year I could tell it was a lost cause. We just had to accept whatever other teams wanted and participate for our own enjoyment. I have been ignoring the adjusted stats, now I might do the same with raw folding points. Losing with honor FTW!

I think this comment from one of the people over at [H] (that was +1'd by others) pretty well sums up why some of them are willing to help another Team during CC. "To fend off EVGA from ANYTHING, I will throw my SMP rig in for the next few days to help 32....." Everyone that attempted to get [H] involved in CC this year (or last) was chased out with torches and pitchforks. It appears that they didn't approach it correctly...they should have asked them to help go after EVGA and it might have worked!

We're still dead last in Conversion. The only way we can overcome that is to get more people to fold under EVGApes. I've seen a few posts around showing surprise that the contest was going on, even with the banner, sigs, threads, etc. Guessing these are non-regulars on the forums, which is fine. In the past we've sent out PMs/emails to reach these folders. There was talk this year about EVGA sending out an email blast to make this easier on the CC organizers. Any news on this, or should we organize a targeted PM list to try and get add'tl help from our teammates not under EVGApes? This would actually help us gain in all 3 categories, not just conversion. I just don't want to leave anything on the table when this is contest wraps up.

We just had to accept whatever other teams wanted and participate for our own enjoyment. I have been ignoring the adjusted stats, now I might do the same with raw folding points. Losing with honor FTW! You are wrong here. The reason EVGA is not performing well in the stats is because there was very little effort by our team leaders to get people on board or involved in the contest. This is most evident in the fact that at the start our production this year is about half of what it was last year. Though we have increased slightly since then, we haven't even been able to accomplish what we did last year. By any standard of fairness, we should not expect to be doing well in the standings.
