Yea I saw that when I started running numbers through myself, but at least the system is a little more balanced than what it was last year

OK so (Please feel free to correct me if I am mistaken) it looks like the date is set and we are a go, minus the details of the scoring correct? If so we need to get started with our recruiting right away!!! We need to announce CC's return, and date in a separate thread with details to follow...

If I knew what to do I would have already started. We're just waiting on votes on the scoring and the system itself. Since Adak left though I think our vote will be a 3 way, lol. Me, Zodac, and leroy

Id settle for something just to have it if we don't settle for something soon we might as well wait til fall we can always try to see if 9-1 will fly,if not then Id take the other we can always tinker with the formula a little next year it's a hell of a lot better than last years

The scoring in post 786 is min-max, the scoring in 787 is 90-10. The post number is at the bottom which makes things confusing.

I am not looking to be the one to start the CC thread. That is for the Captains to do. They have put forth a LOT of effort and have the privilege to do so. I only asked about it to make sure I was understanding where we are...

Oh, one more thing....the points sytem is about to go up for vote. I anticipate that the 90-10 will be decided on but you never know. Zodac has said that she would prefer the 0-100 normalized scoring but she will go 90-10 in a tie.

what usually happens is we keep telling people about it (remind remind remind) not everyone come to this part of the forums so things that must be done post in general discussions..ie a sticky (so people that don't know about it to get involved - and we get new folders as well as other folders that haven't folded in awhile or unaware of the contest) post in folding discussions(already have) post in contest forum (already have) troy has a contest PM list of people to contact for contests (he usually does some , he has asked me in the past to do some of it occasionally)

Just a suggestion...this thread is all about CC Development and is long. I think we should have a new CC 2012 thread that is for the contest itself. Similar to what Troy has developed for past EVGA contests, it would have at the beginning all the details about CC 2012, how to enter, what changes to make to your config, etc. Also make it a "sticky" if possible to keep it at the top of the list until after CC 2012 is complete. Go Apes!!!

Here´s my thread from last year http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=908059 You can use it as reference/inspiration. You´ll need guys to send pms for recruiting, and a way to distribute the passkey. I still have the ones we used last year, and they should still be good, so no need to request and prime new ones.

Here's a couple of threads from CC 2011 that should be quite helpful as "templates" for a CC 2012 Official thread. Official chimp challenge 2011 thread http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?&m=908059 2011 Chimp Challenge Sign Up Thread This thread (from 2011) has details about config changes, EVGA bucks answers, etc. Of course we'd have to get Shane to OK any EVGA bucks amnesty for CC 2012 before re-using any of that text from the thread. http://forums.evga.com...h=Chimp+Challenge+2011

Umm I can do the Pm's and help distribute the passkey. I just dont who to PM yet... Also can anyone make a graph for me that uses the format and is converted to HTML so I can insert it as a widgit into my website? I think I may have to reopen that project, if I dont hear back from ChrisK soon about HWC's website.

Alright new update for you guys, the cc forum has voted for a scoring system. I got outvoted 2 to 1. They have agreed upon the 0-100 normalized system with the scores being offset at 10-110. With only three or four of us still voting on things, there's not much room for tolerance.
