you may have to retry those with blanks in you try with underscores and you try without - some use them some don't (even tho stanford puts blanks in EVGA accepts usernames without blanks) and willyray yes it's a reminder - some people I skipped over because I saw a post they were in if your receive one and you're already folding for the apes ignore it

Afterburner I certainly mean no one any harm in my comment... It is purely personal... This is why I help our team. All we can do is what we can do. Spending any energy with other teams has proven beyond any doubt to be a waste of time and our own production. To heck with the other teams. Our problem is we do not care how big is team is or is not. We are happy to help. However, when your the proven world champion, they will only go for your knees as they five face you each way to Sunday... Let us do what we do. Crunch, Fold, Game, Mod, Joke, Help and above all else Default or Death. I for one am damn proud of all of you. Even those the contests turned away. I hope they too come back and rejoin their brothers and sisters. Because in the end... What ever we do or do not do is on us, not them. While I won't stay long after, I will see the Chimp Challenge through. I'm pushing everything I've got as far as it'll go, even though I know there's a chance of massive hardware failure on some of my older 775 equipment. I've already had to strap fans down to northbridge heatsinks to keep those from melting, and fans to southbridge heatsinks to keep those cooled. There are graphics cards in open-air boards, something I never do. Where I had power supplies to power everything under one PSU, it was done, but in others, I linked multiples to cover the load. It's 110F in my computing area, and I have insufficient power resources to install and run an air-conditioner. All I can do is wait till it's over, whether it's by losing hardware or by the end of the contest. I've got laptops folding again, couple Core 2 systems, the spare GTS 250 (what would have been an SLI mate to the one that flamed out), and 3 9800 GX2's. Oh, and an old 8800GT. Add to that what I launched in with, my SR-2 under full SMP, and I'm burning points faster than before. I just wish I didn't feel like I was about to melt. Can't wait till it's done, this is a ridiculous amount of heat.

asmodyus I got a question, do you have to switch the EOC also or do i just use mine? Also is there a way to see how much each person is doing? No just use your EOC. only thing you need change is . Name.EVGAPES Passkey ,use one of these if yours is not primed to evgapes name. - dcf78130adac63dfc10883577dfed4d5

Someone has an extra space at the end of their EVGApes name. Kicking in 22,607 point work units that don't count towards the challenge.

Hey sorry guys I havent been around much since this thing started. I did let the ball down on recruitment. But I had believed that EVGA was going to take care of things. Next will be different. Whether Im captain again or not, I dont plan on making the same mistakes twice. Thank you to everyone who has been helping trying to raise awareness the last few days. Ive been so busy that Im at least 3 days behind on reading the forums.

I would fold more but the first half of the day the sun beats on that side of the house that my server/s is set on pushing the heat much warmer than I'd like to have. So I shut down during the day till late evening then fire them back up. So I'm folding about 15+hrs in total. Wish I can do more but just can't take the risk of melting something. Even with the A/C on then temps creep up to 80-85ish. Yeah they could handle it but just don't want to chance it.

I understand what you mean. I had to get a portable a/c for my computer room because central a/c wouldn't get that room below 85F with everything running. And that dry dehumidified heat is horrible.

Your a PM warrior XZ. I wish there wasn't that 5 recipient limit, and the timeout between sending PM's. I'd planned on 100 more this evening but wasn't able, I should be able to do another 100-200 tomorrow at work.

Take a rest Xavier, and thank you for your dedication. We are an incredibly deep team and I'm sure that many just weren't paying attention. Ive done a bunch of PMing to,but w/the anti spam safeguards on the forum it makes it really slow. I've been really busy with work and life but maybe next year we can get a little better organized ahead of time. Thanks Bro DOD

it would have been nice had we done this as a team with at least 6-10 of us the anti-spam thing is a pain and it would be nice if they could extend the pm to an approved pm list or if EVGA would have done it in the first place problems encountered 1. folding name does not equate to username 2. underscore/blankspace issues 3. other punctuation problems 4. g'and q and other letters looking similiar on EOC 5. even if you get thru all that the pm could be blocked 6. pm's may not get forwarded to personal email - so if they don't log into evga they don't get the message had EVGA executed or delivered a email to every user in their userbase list - both for retail sales flyer and include the CC info we may have gotten a good chunk of the folders and from the start and may have grown the team from the exposure (new users) something that we should be talking to EVGA staff about in the future...doing something more coordinated for all our major contests both folding and Crunching

Hey everybody, just wanted to stop by and apologize for my lack of output and absence from the CC thread. Been super busy the last week, and the SR-2 has been down. But I think that I got the SR-2 going again and I'm getting ready to fire up some bigadv. The families GTX460 has been running strong since a couple hours before the start so I've not been completely silent. Again sorry and fold on everybody.

Pfft, more bad news. I have to send my case back, probably RMA it, because of some defective USB port. My computer will be offline for a while until I figure out a way to put the components in a safe place, away from the reach of the two cats I have.
