I would like the passkey also. mike.million@yahoo.com thanks It has been stated correctly a few times and incorrectly a few times. But if you "control c" out of the folding client (completely shut it down) and then you change your password and name, then restart and complete that wu, it will be credited the the ape not you. You can be at 99% and if you stop the client and then restart it, with a new name and passkey, it will be credited to that new account. If you change you account over early and the client completes for evga apes 10 minutes before the contest starts, then it will count for the ape, but will not count for the contest. So it you need the points for the evga promotion, just make sure you get credit for all the ones that won't help us win this contest.

I will shut down all my systems on the 2nd around midnight to blow out the dusts and maintances work. Also allow this time for my basement too cool down for max overlocked on the i7 systems I will be switching over all my bigadv systems on the 3rd, so it will sent on the 5th ( around late afternoon ) then switch over all the remaining systems (GPU and A3 )on the 5th. I should able to net 350,000+PPD when I completly finish switching over my systems, and MAYBE 500,000PPD if I have the time to complete other systems with my spare parts and tested. lol WB

Please make sure someone posts when CC actualy starts, I will be concentrating on hitting my 250 K for the month, and will change to CC, and then back to me depending on how the points go, and how the contest is giong, if it looks like it will be two weeks or less, I should be able to contrubute max points to CC and still hit my #, if it looks like it will take more than 3 weeks, I might have to make some decisions.

the issue is/was "What happens if I participate in the CC and don´t meet the 100k or 250k for my bucks?" Taking part in the CC is no issue for a power folder, but for those that barely make the milestones

l337h4l Quick update Captains are discussing the rules and other factors but it is looking like everything will stay the same as last years challenge at the moment , amount , start time , ect... but I will keep you all updated. I also suggested in the future maybe a handicap for small teams I think this would bring this even into fruition across the world taking on teams like our with a chance to beat us based on a handicap system. -l337h4l... out So any updates? this information would be helpful in the planning to get ready, not waiting till the last minute like last year

Well, it's that time again? I'll start throwing the folder back together for this. I'll need to grab another 2 GTS 250s to fill out the Microwave Machine as I gave 2 of them away. That will be 8 GTS 250s going 24/7. I'll try to have it ready middle of next week. BTW, How is everyone? Its been a while......

Good to be back. Doing well here. Work will be the deciding factor if I'm able to continue folding after the challenge. I've been averaging 70+ hours a week for about the last 6-7 months. I just didn't have time to baby sit the GTS250s with them stopping at random points every day. If the issues are gone or at least lessened, I should be able to keep the Microwave rig going after the challenge. Has Cranny been keeping you all straight?

yhpm You only need the passkey for the win smp with -advmethods. The race starts May 5th High Noon Pacific time. Every finished wu for EVGApes coming in afterwards counts for the challenge. So make sure you change over early enough.

Can someone PM the passkeys to me please? I will definitely participate via GPU - I may also run SMP, but that will depend on my needs - right now, tying up my system CPU may not be viable.
