Punchy Horvat Question to all CC participants. Based on the current point goal of 20 million, would the CC last long enough for -bigadv to be viable with an average completion time of 2 1/2 days or would A3 WU's be the way to go? I can't quite wrap my head around how the stats would fall out at the moment.(early onset dementia ya know) For us it depends what fraction of the team will shift to the CC and what the current point goal is. One thing to try is to have your bigadv clients completing their first WU within hours after the CC starts. You could do it with a -oneunit flag and then switch to A3's afterwards if it looks like the contest will end before the next bigadv would complete. +1 @wheelieman: pm with passkey sent

quick question so are we keeping last year's name EVGApes? I don't think I saw any final direction so far, but the current name/passkey combination was reported to be primed and ready to go.

The combo EVGApes and passkey I sent you is already primed. I think oone non person is enough in our overall top 20. No need to add another one every year, so just stick to the one we already have, and give all those others are real chance to make it there

Thanks for taking the time to have it primed. You or someone else did 10 WUs for us. That deserves at least a thumbs up! +1

I would like the passkey too so that I can fold for the team. EVGApes, right? Do caps matter or no?

Just to clarify. The pass key is only needed if you are doing the -bigadv or the SMP2 wus. You don't need the pass key for regular folding. If you are GPU folding or doing VMWare or regular smp folding, all you need to do is change the user name to EVGApes. For -bigadv folders, it would be a good idea to change your name 2 days ahead of the start day. That way we will see the boost of those points on the first day of the contest. If youwait until the contest begins, the first WUs won't be done until day 3 of the contest.

Tell the volcano to stop I am supposed to leave Holland on the 1st of May. CC starts probably May 5th... Flights that have been canceled have been rescheduled up to a week later... I heard the last time this particular volcano erupted, it erupted for 1 year straight based on scientific investigations. Might have to travel to Portugal and to Brazil up to USA
