pgmoney Punchy Barbarossa So far only Harlam (Captain of overclockers. com) has posted the rules http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=641531 That doesn't have any rules such as mortimersnerd listed - it's just the criteria for the contest. The actual rules need to be posted in public in places such as that thread for them to be effective. Mr. Snerd, I hope you will take this comment back to the secret captain's forum. I will be writing harlem about the rules so we can have something official to post thta all teams are going by Sorry I didn't get back with you on OCF pg... I also was unsure about posting the infractions, but I did so because otherwise my teammates wouldn't know what NOT to do. We've never had a single site where the rules are displayed. It's up to the individual team captains to post the rules clearly at their own forum. The thread here has everything you need to know: http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=641531

In Harlam's post there is a nice link to a graph hosted by Hardware Canucks for the CC. I am linking it here. Looks like other teams are starting to switch their clients this weekend.

AlexisRO zerran2001 AlexisRO Can i get a PM with the passkey? Please Pm one of the members listed in this thread http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=309564 Thanks, just did . Should we start switchin' too? MAJOR EDIT: Alexis, be careful not to step on toes. There is a bit of a protocol that has been set around here for sharing the passkey. That thread was started to help others in finding the correct people to PM to get it and they have some instructions/rules to follow when handing it out. There has been some concern about the passkey getting out to those who may be malicious and would try to keep us below 80% completion rate. It does seem at this time like that is a VERY unlikely scenario, but we are a cautious bunch around here. Somehow I got the idea that AlexisRO had forwarded the key on to s7icky, my head was definitely somewhere else. s7icky, follow AlexisRO's lead and PM one of the members in that thread.

Help! I can't figure out how to remove my personal passkey from my console clients. When I try to just enter a space " ", the client tells me invalid passkey. I may need the EVGApes passkey so I don't have to reinstall my clients. - - Silveradocyn

It wouldn't hurt anything to keep your own passkey their, but I'm going to send you a passkey anyways because it sounds like you should be using it! ygpm

Starting time question: It officially starts at 12 pst (3pm Eastern correct?) I am doing SMP2 and GPU. Takes my CPU about 6-7hrs per WU and GPU's about 2hrs. Is it within the rules to start them to have them finish there first wu's just after the start time or do i need to start them when the CC officially starts?

Correct, time it for like 4 ET and you will be fine, still within the first update and no worries about it finishing early.

you don´t need the passkey on your gpu, but doesn´t hurt having it in there. my gpus are running with a passkey a swell. For the rest, follow zerran´s instructions
